Previously named “ A view of Parliament a 5 minute walk “ I changed the name to “ Great View of the London Eye ” as so many guests commented on the great view of the London Eye & ideal location as a launch pad to explore London. 2 bed top floor flat ( on the third floor) of a modern high spec block in Lambeth & on the edge of the Borough of Westminster less that a 5 minute walk to the River Thames with a great view of Parliament & Big Ben from Albert Embankment 5 minutes away. The apartment has some fantasic views of the London Eye,the Shard & partial views of the City from the balcony. Modern living room kitchen, bathroom & balcony. The bedroom (double for a maximum of 2 persons) has TV & a selection of DVDs, WiFi, Safety deposit box & Hairdryer. Maps, pamphlets books & sightseeing information. USB points are installed into the electrical sockets. Tea & coffee making facilities, Orange juice, fresh fruit & bread to make toast are provided. Towels & toiletries are also provided. 2 nights minimum stay Guests will be given a key fob to the communal door & a key for access into the flat. Guests are free to use the kitchen to prepare light meals & snacks or for breakfast. The guest bedroom has plenty of storage space. I work from home so will quite often be around to answer any questions guests might have during their stay. Convenient for sightseeing around a 25-30 minute walk into the West End along the South Bank. On the South Bank is the London Eye The London Dungeon & The Aquarium. Lambeth Palace is less than 5 minutes away with the Imperial War Museum on Kennington Park Road relatively close by. Westminster Bridge is a 15 walk away, just cross over the Bridge for Big Ben The Houses of Parliament & Westminster Abbey. Tate Britain is a 10 minute walk turn ,left after crossing Lambeth Bridge onto Millbank The Artist Damien Hurst, Newport St Gallery ( Pharmacy 2 restaurant ) is 2 minutes away & quite literally next door. Due to its location the room is more suitable for tourists & sightseers visiting London's attractions Lambeth North Tube station ( Bakerloo Line )is a 10 minute walk away. Vauxhall ( Victoria Line) is a 15 -20 walk in the opposite direction Bus No3 to Whitehall is opposite Lambeth Palace & the stop is 5 minutes away. 159 to Marble Arch is on Kennington Rd along with the 59 to Kings Cross. Buses C10 & 507 to Victoria are from Lambeth Palace Rd 7 minutes away Waterloo main line station is a 20 minute walk away.
