The utility and two shower rooms are on the ground floor ready for your return. It's also an ideal space for children, with plenty of space and open plan area. We have stair gates, cots, high chairs and baby baths available for our very young guests. Also there are games, jigsaws and DVDs to entertain all ages. There are numerous walks from our doorstep, passing friendly local pubs serving excellent food. The lodge is dog friendly with a big yard. Please let us know if you have any requests or questions, we’re here to accommodate you and your needs. We would like to let you know that we have a magnificent stone mason working his artwork on the lodge. So far he's stoned up to head height. This will not effect your stay as it's only cosmetic and he'll only work when the Lodge is empty. We live in the adjoining house with our four children. Access to our house is around the back of the house and we have our own parking area. The yard for the Lodge is reserved for guests. Next door to us is a farm which is run by Gareth's Dad. He has over 100 head of cattle. We also have seven hens, a dog, two sheep and a gypsy cob. We are always available to make sure that your stay is perfect. The house is in a nice quiet location overlooking the Llandegla moors. You can even see One Planet Adventure woods which is a very short drive or a bike ride away. Locally we have many attractions including, hacking, mountain biking, walking, fishing, clay pigeon shooting and lots more. There are lots of nice country pubs with great food and ale, the Rose & Crown is a family and dog friendly pub with a nice stumble home on the quiet roads. Within an hours drive you are in the heart of Snowdonia. There you have the new Zipworld and Surf Snowdonia. There are a choice of lakes to visit and plenty of walks in the mountains. The local towns have many independent shops and markets twice a week. Or if you’re a city type, Chester is a historical Roman city with many attractions and great shops. We are happy to help with suggestions for your trip, we’ve both grown up in this area so know most of the attractions and the best places to go.
