Island Bank Riverside, cosy home in great location

Location, location, location! This beautiful house close to the river is ideally located close to the centre of Inverness. Adjacent to the local park and Ness islands, a short stroll from Eden Court Theatre, shops, restaurants and bars. Loch Ness is an easy 20 minute drive away. A stylish and cosy house featuring traditional features combined with contemporary kitchen and bathroom, private garden and on-street parking. Ideal for couples or families, the property sleeps up to five people. The homely property comprises a beautiful open-plan living space on the ground floor. A cosy and comfortable lounge features original stripped floors, wood burning stove, Chesterfield sofa bed, and comfy armchairs. With a large folding dining table in the the lounge, this area can double up as a dining room, ideal for nights in. Six dining/bedroom chairs are also provided, as well as four kitchen stools so plenty of seating options for everyone. The adjoining kitchen includes a breakfast bar and every amenity you could want for your stay including microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and all utensils. To keep you entertained the large smart TV offers a range of channels plus there's speedy wi-fi for all your devices. Upstairs the two double bedrooms feature Super King Size beds which can be separated into Twin beds if you prefer, luxury Egyptian cotton bedding and high quality towels, with plenty hanging and drawer space for everyone. The upstairs bathroom features bath with shower, and a second WC is located downstairs off the lounge. The house benefits from a large private garden to the front and a small area to the rear, which is all fully bordered by fence and hedges. Although not always personally available at the property I have a local host and plenty of contacts in the area to ensure your stay is trouble free. Inverness with its great selection of restaurants, bars and nightlife is all within walking distance so you don’t have to worry about driving home after a night out. The area is also ideal for families with Bellfield Park adjacent to the house offering a bandstand (summer concerts), tennis courts, putting green, children's paddling pool, bicycle hire, cafe, barbeque and picnic areas. Eden Court theatre and cinema is across the river, a short stroll away. There are a couple of local shops nearby for essentials, while the centre of Inverness is a 10-15 minute walk away offering a huge choice of shops, restaurants and bars. Inverness Castle and city centre are a ten minute walk along the river. Ness Islands are just a short walk from the house and Loch Ness is a twenty minute drive away. Exploring further afield is easy - there are lots of beautiful places to visit in the Highlands which can be reached easily by road. You'll find a few suggestions in the Information book in the property. If you’d rather not drive yourself you can book from a wide choice of local tours leaving from Inverness. The sofa/sofa bed is in the lounge area downstairs and is easily folded away during the day. Double in size it sleeps its made to sleep two adults, however I would suggest the sofa bed is more suited to one adult / teenager for comfort. You'll find a few essentials in the house such as coffee, tea, sugar. Salt and pepper are also in the kitchen for your use, as well as laundry and dishwasher tablets. There is parking available on the street adjacent to the house, alongside Bellfield Park.
