We work and study at La Trobe University during the day, but are happy to visit when we are home. Probably the best access to public transport of any Airbnb in Melbourne. The train to the city stops just outside the door, and also, there are buses for east west travel, for example, an 8 minute trip to Northland shopping centre. Transport from the airport is easy; take the Melbourne airport bus (Skybus) from outside the airport terminal to Southern Cross train station in downtown Melbourne, and then cross over to the Eltham/Hurstbridge metro train line. Get off the train at Rosanna station, and you are there. Alternatively, it is about $50 by taxi. There is parking nearby, and Melbourne city is a 29 minute direct train ride, with at least 4 trains per hour. We are 2km from Austin/Mercy Hospital and 4km to La Trobe University.
