Nukku - The Quiet Country Retreat

(Entire home - conditions apply) - Nukku is 150 km N/W of Brisbane, in the ranges - 480 MT above sea level. It is a quiet retreat with two dams & a creek. Blackbutt is 8 minutes away with cafes, the local pub, convenience stores & Blackbutt Visitor Centre. Try one of QLD's award winning pies from the local Blackbutt Bakery. Explore local hiking & easy access to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. The charm is the serenity of it! NO firearms, motorbikes or pets are permitted on this property. Enjoy a relaxing weekend in the country and do as little or as much as you want. Our renovated three bedroom house is cosy and sleeps eight comfortably. Take in the fresh air & scenic views and the beautiful star-filled night sky. Enjoy a camp fire in the winter and bring your own fold away chairs. Visit some of the local country pubs and towns, relax and enjoy the country life. The whole house can be yours for 4 or more people for the duration of the stay. Because this a working property we do come and go to check and feed the animals. The Bunya Mountains are nearby, as is, the South Burnett Wine region and many other historical places of interest. I am happy to offer my assistance if I am around, and I can arrange local tours if required. The area is unique as you are surrounded by rolling hills with neighbours some distance away. Besides the cattle, there are wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas, wild rabbits and you may spot the occasional deer (if you are lucky), a range of birds; grass parrots, black cockatoos, quail, finches and wedge tail eagles, to name but a few. As you are on 70 acres and there is loads of parking! There is a daily bus to Caboolture which connects with the train to Brisbane. Suitable for all - families, couples and friends are welcome!
