We are experienced international travelers, and enjoy meeting new people. We have lived in various places around the world, including the USA and Canada. We live close to the center of Dunfermline. Our home is very close to the historical town city center, with the Abbey, Carnegie Museum, the Glen Park, Arts & Culture. We are located minutes from the M90 motorway, and close to bus and rail links, ideally connecting you with Edinburgh city center and beyond. A warm and friendly welcome awaits all of our guests. Our guests have sole use of their own bathroom and sole use of the dining room. Within your dining room (sole use) you will find a mini fridge, a toaster, kettle, also all your mugs, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, a tea-pot, and a coffee maker. You will also find there is complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fresh fruit, cereals,bread and spread and spread. We offer free Wifi, which is a high-speed all-fibre connection, providing stable, high-speed upload and download. The dining room is available to use to work or relax, with views out to the private garden. The guest room contains a comfortable, orthopaedic double bed, ensuring a comfortable nights sleep. The room has plenty of storage, USB power outlets with a full double wardrobe, towels, and Shower Gell also provided. We will do our very best to help make your stay here in Dunfermline as enjoyable as possible. If you have any specific requirements for your stay (dietary or otherwise) then please feel free to contact us, as we will be more than happy to cater to your individual needs. Once our guests have checked in, they will be able to come and go as they please. You are more than welcome to enjoy the beautiful garden, or relax and work in the dining room. We are usually available in our home for questions, but we respect your privacy at all times. We are close to rail links (5 mins car, 20 mins walk), park and ride facilities (5 mins car), to Edinburgh which is only 30 minutes away by public transport. Making us ideally located for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Christmas Fair and Hogmanay Celebrations. Please note, during Christmas and New Year, public transport is severely limited, and may not be available. Please check prior to booking. We are a short walk from a cinema, restaurants, mega bowl complex, Florida style golf, etc. We are also 45 minutes by car, from St. Andrews and Gleneagles Golf courses. As well as many other stunning courses found in Fife. We are minutes from the M90 motorway. Halbeath Park and Ride, 5 minutes by car, for easy bus links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Perth. We are also close to Queen Margaret Train Station (5 min by car, 20 min walk). Links to Fife Circle, Edinburgh and beyond. Please note during public holidays, Christmas and New Year, public transport availability is limited. Please check or contact us prior to travel. We offer tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fruit, spread and bread for toasting. During COVID restrictions, access to our fridge is not allowed, but guests have a mini fridge and are welcome to use the microwave. There is no access to kitchen facilities.
