Nestled amongst the gum, avocado and mango trees 'The Nest' is a quiet, peaceful place to relax and unwind. Sitting on the edge of a private 9 (short) hole golf course, it’s perfect for golfers. Diddillibah is centrally located making it perfect for exploring the Coast. A 10/15 min drive to stunning beaches, shops and restaurants in Maroochydore. Or a 15/20 min drive and you are up in the breathtaking hinterland. We also have a second listing - The Aviary. PLEASE READ in full prior to booking. The Nest is located away from the main house, and our other listing -The Aviary. It has its own parking space and entrance. Set over two floors, with the ground floor having the living, dining, kitchenette and bathroom. The kitchenette: Plug in cook top/bar fridge Kettle/toaster Microwave/toasty maker Electric rice cooker Pots/pans/cooking utensils Cutlery/crockery/glasses Dish cloth/washing liquid Kitchen roll/ tea towels **NO oven or dishwasher. The living area: 40inch smart TV (inc Netflix) DVD player/ DVDs air conditioning/ceiling fan. Ground floor bathroom: Shower only, NO bathtub We supply: Towels/bath mat Toilet paper Hand wash/shower gel Shampoo/conditioner Make up remover/hair dryer. Iron and bench top ironing board. The bedroom: Queen bed/white bed linen bedside tables/lamp reading chair/reverse cycle air conditioning. PLEASE READ>>>> The bedroom is in the attic, so has a sloping ceiling. PLEASE!! view bedroom images. There are stairs to the bedroom which are narrow and the ceiling is low towards the top of stairs, so taller guests will have to 'duck' their heads a little at on the last couple of steps. Outside: Guests have their own parking space. There is a private patio and lawn. Should you wish to dine outside there is a table and chairs, Webber bbq and cute string lighting. Check in instructions will be messaged to you upon booking. You parking space is in front of the green left hand garage door We appreciate most guests like to be left to enjoy the peace and quiet; however, if you have any questions or concerns during your stay, you only have to ask/txt myself or Paul and we will do all we can to help. Diddillibah is a pretty and peaceful area, you’ll feel like you're in the middle of the country and yet it's such a central and easy location to explore the Coast from. Woombye -5 minute drive, with a Spar, butchers, bakery, post office, bank, chemist, newsagents, laundrette, a pub and a selection of coffee shops. Maroochydore -15 minute drive, there you will find a large shopping mall, bars, restaurants and coffee shops galore. Cotton Tree -15 minute drive has a beautiful park area and it’s where the river meets the ocean. It has an array of individual shops and great coffee. Eumundi Markets -20 minute drive are a ‘must go to’ for visitors. Coolum -20 minute drive. For those more energetic visitors I’d highly recommend climbing the mount.Once climbed you can pop into Coolum and grab a coffee or cool drink and wander along the boardwalk or onto the beach. Palmwoods -10 minute drive Home to Ricks Garage. A fabulous themed pub that serves delicious burgers and juicy ribs. Live music and a gorgeous beer garden. Montville- 20 minute drive. Such a pretty little hinterland town with lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Although Diddillibah is central for exploring the Coast, the public transport is very limited and we highly recommend you having your own transport. We ask that you please make yourself aware of the cancellation policy regards to covid and refunds. The course is a short (7 iron max) 9 hole course. A Small fee to play, payable in cash prior to playing. No tee off time is required. We have clubs, trolley, balls etc you are welcome to borrow. WIFI is available at the property, however due to location it can suffer drop out’s occasionally. Phone reception works fine. Uber’s are available in this area.
