Sadies Port Kembla

The cottage was built by the builders to live in while they built number 27. Port Kembla has 3 beaches, including a dog friendly beach, a lake, bike tracks, excellent surfing, whale watching areas, and has a railway station. Port is within an hour from the Southern Highlands, Jervis Bay, and Kiama. It is 15 minutes from Wollongong and has a creative and friendly vibe. The cottage has original artworks, is in a lovely garden, and has a barbecue and little outdoor fireplace. It is quiet, and totally private. The cottage is entirely separate to the main house, with two gates, so your pets are safe. Tim is around during the day, busy in our garden and Ann works in Wollongong. We don’t enter Sadie’s unless you need us to. Port Kembla is a suburb that is nestled between the Steelworks, the Port of Port Kembla, and three lovely beaches with the Escapment in the West. It is 5 minutes from Lake Illawarra, and popular surfing beaches, a beautiful ocean swimming pool, and fishing, snorkeling and boating areas. A railway station is 15 minutes walk from Sadie’s, a bus stop is 5 minutes walk away, and there is a bike pathway that connects Port Kembla to Wollongong and south to Windang and if you are really keen - the village of Shellharbour. You can park in our driveway if you have a high wheel base vehicle, or on the street if that suits you better. The cottage is small. When there are 4 guests, it’s very cosy.
