We offer you a unique accommodation, sleeping barrels, situated on a 2 hectare permaculture lifestyle block. This is a unique glamping experience, no doubt. Super comfy Ecosa memory foam mattresses will make sure you'll wake up refreshed! You will need reasonable fitness to access the top bunk. This might not be the right place for you, if you have had injuries in the past that compromise your movements. SUMMER: Fan and mosquito light provided :) WINTER: The cabins are warm in winter AND WE PRE HEAT THE CABIN BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL with an oil heater. The European log cabin style is self insulating. Double-glasing adds to the self- insolating properties of the cabin. Guests are welcome to explore the entire property. There are swings, a trampoline and other play equipment available. Our kids (age 5, 8 and 10) are usually up for a play, if other children are around. we are usually working inside or in the garden, I will be around if you need me for anything and always up for a chat - but we give our guests space. It's peaceful and beautiful. We love being in tune with Papatuanuku (Mother Earth) and you'll leave more connected in any shape or form. We are located 14 minutes outside Nelson by car. We can do town pick-ups for a $30 fee and airport for $60. There's a river swimming spot in walking distance from the house. Water is crisp and clean.
