Uncle Bill's Cabin, a great country experience!

Very private and peaceful country location, 10 minutes west of Ipswich, easy and quick access to electric train, Willowbank Race Way, major highways and sight seeing. Toowoomba, GoldCoast and Sunshine Coast are all within an easy hours drive. Guests have access to the gardens, and are able to use washing machine and dryer if requested. We aim to make our guests as comfortable and happy as we possibly can. We are available to our guests if they require advice and information on the local area. We have traveled extensively ourselves, so we have an understanding of people's needs and privacy. Seating on the edge of the Scenic Rim, we are 4km from the Historic town of Rosewood which is on the Cobb an Co Heritage Trail. Using the cabin as a base, you are 20 min from Ipswich, 40mins from Brisbane, 1 1/2 hrs from the Gold or Sunshine Coast, 15 mins from the Locker Valley and 1hr from Toowoomba. If traveling by train is your thing, we are an easy walk of about 650 mts to the Thagoona Railway Station. Here you can catch an electric train to Ipswich, Brisbane Central, Brisbane Airport or for that matter, any other part of Australia that is covered by the rail network. We have 1 small friendly dog.
