The cosy Garden Room at Penybryn

Welcome to Penybryn B&B, perfect if you're looking for somewhere to stay in North Wales, handy for Wrexham and Llangollen and a great spot for cycling, as we are close to the famous One Planet Mountain Bike Centre, and walking on Offa's Dyke path. We offer a complimentary breakfast for our guests, taking into account any special dietary requirements! The Garden Room has it's own private entrance door and is in it's own self contained space, as we have a door and corridor separating the room and bathroom from the rest of the cottage. The price is for 2 people, but adjustments can be made for single occupancy. The Garden Room is a twin bedded room on the ground floor and gives access to a rear patio area and the rest of the garden. Tea and coffee making facilites are available in the room. We can offer help and advice on local activities and amenities. Possible provision of transport to and from walking and cycling locations. Bwlchgwyn is one of the highest villages in Wales and has access to some of the most beautiful countryside within the United Kingdom. Walking and cycling in the area is splendid and can be as easy or challenging as you want to make it. The City of Chester with all it's historic background is only a 20 minute car journey away. We are less than an hour away from the Snowdonia National Park and the coast is also less than an hour away. Wrexham, Chester, Ruthin and Llangollen are all accessible by public transport. Bwlchgwyn is on the route of the X51 bus, which runs from Wrexham to Denbigh via Ruthin. There is a local and very reliable taxi service from the nearby village of Coedpoeth. There are two public houses within walking distance of the cottage, one of which serves food. Others are available within a short drive away. You can also bring your own liquid refreshments and pop them in our fridge! Please note that we live in an old stone cottage with low beamed ceilings, which may need taking into account if you are above 6 ft 2 ".
