Privacy abounds with acres of private garden, a sanctuary to explore, horses and ponies to visit and plenty of wild life and nature walks. The Poplars is a restored pioneers’ cottage (circa 1930), overlooking a beautiful private creek and garden, set amongst giant Manna Gums and in a natural bush and farm setting! Located on a farm, 45 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, near Berwick, the Poplars cottage is fully self-contained, excellent kitchen with all utensils for cooking up a feast, queen size bed for the master bedroom, single bed room, dining room, and lounge library room for reading your favorite novel, all in the small scale of a cute cottage, filled with books, antiques and beautiful paintings. Your cottage has views across our farm where you will see horses, an abundance of wildlife including wombats, deer, wallabies, kangaroos, kookaburras and a huge array of parrots. The deck overlooks the creek and 300 year old Mana Gums filled with parrots and is a favorite gathering place for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Kookaburras will land on the railing and say good morning! This is a place to slow down and find peace and quiet. Switch off from technology and connect with nature. With all the comforts of home, a woodfire pot belly heating the home in winter, and reverse cycle aircon for summertime.
