Lilium, cozy room w/ balcony overlooking citywalls

The Lilium guesthouse is located in a historic building just before medieval city walls of Otricoli, 5km far from A1/Magliano Sabina Highway exit and on the Wine and EVO route of Umbria. The house has two double bedrooms with period forniture, a large living room where you can eat or relax on the sofa. A kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and an additional toilet are also available. Through the windows the view stretches from the city walls, to the historic center, up to the valley below. The Lilium guesthouse has an independent access that can be reached by going up a flight of steps from main street Via Roma. This first double room has a king size bed, the window and the balcony overlook the valley and Via Roma; wardrobe and drawer available for guests. Common spaces: The living room has air conditioning, TV, fireplace, sofabed (queen size), six seats dining table, equipped kitchenette and toilets. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, mini oven, induction hob, dishes and a washing machine. The first bathroom with shower, The second is a toilet. Our house is settled to welcome new guests starting from 3 pm. In case of different needs, please contact us in advance to better organize your stay. On arrival self Check in will be done, as well as self Check out. The Lilium guesthouse is located on Via Roma, where you will find all the main services, shops, bars and restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine. A few steps away, through the Porta Urbica gateway, you enter the perfectly preserved medieval town. Here you can lose yourself in a pleasant walk full of historic buildings and churches, cobbled alleys, suggestive views from the walls to the surrounding hills and valleys. 1 km away lasts the vast archaeological park of Ocriculum, the ancient Roman city rised between the Via Flaminia road and the Tiber river. Every year between May and June take place "Ocriculum AD168", a historical re-enactment that brings the Roman city back to its ancient imperial splendor. Easily reachable by car, the town of Otricoli is 5 km away from the A1 motorway, exit Magliano Sabina. It represents an ideal stop along the Umbria wine and oil route, as well as a base for visiting other medieval towns like Narni and naturalistic attractions such as the Marmore waterfalls.   You can also get to the Town by bus, with the E627 Terni-Narni-Orticoli line.
