Kereru Studio Mahurangi East

Kereru Studio is a comfortable space for a couple or person wishing to 'escape' for a period of tranquillity. The tidal Te Kapa inlet is at the bottom of the lawn directly in front of the studio for swimming or kayaking. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor spa and kayaks. There is a veranda and outdoor courtyard beside the studio exclusively for guest use. Off street parking is available and our living area is off limits. Because we live on the site there is every chance we will be present when guests are staying. Interaction would be limited to anything we can do to ensure our guests stay meets their expectations. Mahurangi East is a peninsular which leads down to Scott's Landing. It has a lot of walks, lovely views, bush areas and native birds. In the area there are regional parks, ocean beaches, cafes, vineyards and restaurants. About 20 minutes drive away is the popular Matakana village with markets and cinemas. You are spoilt for choice in the region depending on what sort of break you want to have. You would need to have your own transport to enjoy your stay. Off street parking is available. We will provide travel directions and a list of local attractions which may interest you. For tranquillity we do not have a television in the studio but wifi access is available. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster and tea/coffee making. All linen is supplied there is no cleaning fee. There is off street parking and you will require a car to stay at the studio
