The Hilltop..

The HIlltop is a warm, comfortable house that should suit anyone wanting to spend some time in the area. The house has 3 bedrooms, one of them a dedicated space for airbnb guests. The shared kitchen & bathroom are both modern with everything guests will need for a comfortable stay. There is a great deck for outside dining in nice weather. Guests will be sharing the kitchen, bathroom & living area with me but I'm pretty easygoing, often out in the evening & work fulltime therefore usually gone early so there shouldn't be an issue sharing spaces. The deck is great in the summer. Once initial contact has been made I can be contacted either via the airbnb website or I am happy to give my mobile number out if it makes it easier to maintain contact. Thames is a great town to live in. Its the gateway to the Coromandel & all it has to offer. It has lots of cafes & other eating places to enjoy. Goldmining was big in the regions heyday so there is plenty to learn about that period. The house is a 5 minute drive from town & the beginning of the Keauranga Valley which takes you to The Pinnacles, other great walks & a popular canyoning experience. There is a bus service in town & also a taxi service. it would take an average of 30-40 minutes to walk to town. Guests should note that the downstairs part of the house is not part of the space available. There may be someone staying there so be aware of that.
