Dela Costa House is a family home providing a quality hotel type accommodation with FREE continental breakfast, FREE parking, FREE access to Wifi, Netflix, and Foxtel. A luxurious place to stay offering utmost peace and comfort. The house is well positioned in the heart of Tuross Head with fabulous views, shops and dining places. A two minute drive to the beach, close enough to hear the roaring sound of the waves as it reached the shore. A perfect location to unwind and have a relaxing weekend. Tuross Head is a lovely town with heaps of local fishing spots and several look out to see the breath-taking views of Pacific Ocean. The beach is a great place for swimming and child friendly. There are lots of park and bush area by the beach ideal for picnic, strolling. Visiting our town may also give you a chance to watch whales as they pass by during migration period usually commencing in May. The nearby towns have also several interesting places and attractions that will make your visit to the South Coast a trip to remember. For golf enthusiasts, Tuross Head Golf and Country club is a short distance walk from the house. The club is also a good place to dine while enjoying the magnificent panoramic views of the Coila Lake adjoining the Pacific Ocean. There are other lovely dining places to go offering fine dining with a view and or simple fish and chips served in the wharf right beside the Tuross River. Dela Costa House has four standard spacious rooms to accommodate 8 guests and a quiet/study room that can be converted to another room (5th room) for extra guests. All rooms have hotel quality linens, towels, blanket and pillow. All linens, towels and blankets, pillow cases are freshly washed and ironed. The house have a total of three toilets, three showers and a bath with built in spa. FREE toiletries such as body soap, shampoo, conditioner, tooth paste and toilet paper are provided. The entire house is fully airconditioned with door lock on each room for safety and privacy. BLUE ROOM is located downstairs, the room has a queen size bed, built in wardrobe and a smart TV to watch local TV programs and access to Netflix. Toilet and shower for this room is located on the same floor outside the blue room. AQUA ROOM is located upstairs, the room has 2 single bed which can easily converted to a double bed and a built in wardrobe. Toilet and shower for this room is located on the same floor just outside the bedroom. PURPLE ROOM is located upstairs, the room has a Queen size bed, built in wardrobe and a smart TV to watch local TV programs and access to Netflix. Toilet and shower for this room is located on the same floor just outside the bedroom. DE LUXE ROOM (Master Bedroom) is located upstairs, the room is spacious with King size bed, wardrobe and a smart TV to watch local TV programs and access to Netflix. It has ensuite bathroom with a full view of the Tuross Lake and a bath with built in SPA. QUIET/STUDY ROOM is located downstairs next to formal lounge room. This room has its own doors for privacy and a sofa bed that can easily converted to a double bed. Toilet and shower for this room is located on the same floor. Guests renting the whole house can access the following facilities: Lounge Area: The main lounge room for a formal quiet setting with smart TV to watch local TV programs and access to Netflix. Whilst the second lounge room which is adjacent to the Kitchen and Dining is more of a family setting. It has a bigger smart TV to watch local TV programs and both Foxtel and Netflix. Dining Area: There are two dining areas one with a 6 seater table and another 8 seater table both located near the back veranda where you can enjoy the Tuross lake view dining. Back Veranda: Outdoor chairs and table are available to have an outdoor breakfast whilst enjoying the lush garden below and the bush trees in the back reserve area adding up to the serene backdrop of the yard matching the warm beautiful sunshine in the morning. Kitchen: The big kitchen is fully equipped, guests renting the whole house and staying for 2 or more days are allowed to cook and use all kitchen tools and appliances such as fridge/freezer, microwave, rice cooker, dishwasher, stovetop, and oven. Dishes, cutlery, coffee mugs, wine and drinking glass, bowls cup and saucers are also available for your convenience. A tea and coffee facility with Nespresso machine, water kettle, sandwich press and toaster are provided for easy fixed breakfast. Nespresso coffee pods, tea, milk, cereals, and biscuits are provided for the guest’s FREE continental breakfast. OTHER PROVISIONS First Aid kit, blood pressure monitor, Fire extinguisher, Fire blanket are available and located in common kitchen area. Chess board and other indoor board games are available for family interaction and entertainment. Selections of pocketbooks and magazines to enjoy peace and quiet time. Portable Cot, Highchair, Iron/Ironing board and Hair Dryer are available upon request. We stay in the property mainly to do maintenance and to provide immediate assistance in case of emergency, if the need arises and upon guests request. We have our own private place within the property which has a different entrance and exit and separated to where the guests stay to give guests their safety, security and utmost privacy. Guests can only see/talk to us when we welcome them on their check in and when they check out. As long as the house policies are being observed we don't interfere with our guests on their entire stay. Tuross Head locals are friendly and family-oriented people, mostly consists of professionals and retirees creating a clean, safe and quiet community. Guests are expected to respect the peace and order around the Tuross Head neighbourhood. Parking around Tuross Head is free, it is also safe and lovely to walk around the neighbourhood down to the beach and look out. Murrays bus runs everyday from Canberra via Queanbeyan and Batemans Bay down to Narooma. Bus can drop passengers right in Tuross Head Shops. For other bus pickup points and schedules as well as fare cost please go to Murrays websites. Guests must observe a NO SMOKING and NO excessive consumption of alcohol policy inside the premises at all times. Celebrations, indoor family games and gatherings are allowed up until 10 pm only. You may continue to do so BUT would need to keep the noise down after 10pm in respect to the nearby neighbors. Entire house floor is madeof polish timber, also for health and sanitary purposes a NO Shoes policy inside the house must be observed. Clean and sanitized slippers can be provided. NO pets are allowed to protect other guests who may have existing allergies. Foods and drinks are NOT allowed inside the bedrooms. House rules should be strictly followed, and guests should maintain order and cleanliness in the house. Guest/s must climb stairs. The house has a flight of stairs going up to top floor and or going down to entrance level. For safety, adults must look after kids below 5 years old when going up or down the stairs. Driveway is quite steep hence if guests hesitate to drive down to the lower parking area, the top side area in front of the property is also a safe place to park and available free of charge. Lastly, please note that we sometimes stay in the property in our own private place which has a different entrance and exit. It is an area totally separated to where the guests stay to give guests their safety, security and utmost privacy. We usually stay in the property mainly to do maintenance and to provide immediate assistance to guests should the need arises. As long as the house policies are being observed we don't interfere with our guests on their entire stay. Guests can only see/talk to us when we welcome them on their check in and when they check out or as per guests requests.
