Gaia Vida Farmstead - River Cottage

Celebrate in style in our newly renovated cottage with stunning river views. Surround yourself with nature and animals and enjoy pure farm experience with chicken and cows. Swimming, finishing or kayaking (kayaks are for hire) is at your doorstep since property has direct access to Brisbane river. Do BBQ or enjoy campfire under the stars. Cottage can accommodate up to 6 people sleeping comfortably on queen beds. Baby cot is available at no extra fee. Owners stay in a separate house. Wake up by the river and enjoy complementary coffee or herbal tea. You can go out for breakfast to the café at the Main St of Lowood (10min walk or 2 min drive). You can swim in the river or go fishing. We can drop you off at the Wivenhoe Damn so you can kayak back to the house or just kayak from the cottage out (kayak rental or tour fee applies). We also have two mountain bikes for hire. Laundry / Washing machine is available at the main house - please don't hesitate to ask. Outdoor areas are shared with the owners and the property also provides camp sites for max. 2 groups. If you wish for absolute privacy please get it touch - we can block dates for campsites when required. The property offers 20 acres of land with direct river access. Hosts are in the main house and are happy to provide local tips about the area and accommodate special requests. Lowood is a small town with few cafes and pubs. It is located 30min away from the Wivenhoe Damn. You can visit olive farm or go horse-riding in the area. Free parking offered on the property. You can reach the cottage from Warrego Highway (50min Drive from Brisbane). Free WiFi is offered in the cottage.
