You will be staying in a typical bucolic Alsacian village, which is perfectly located right at the Swiss border with Basel. The village is residential and very green. You can go jogging or mountain biking in the forest and fields attending the village with a Vita health path in the forest. The apartment is located in the village center, a few steps away from all aminities, restaurant, banks… The village hosts a mix a locals french alsacian population with executive expatriates, working mainly for the pharmaceutical industry in Basel. The village is crossed by a very small river, which runs one street away with a walking path, and there are numerous typical houses dating centuries old. There is also an Art gallery hosting artist workshops and expositions, called the Fabriek. What I do appreciate the most, is this mix of alsacian athmosphere and the direct proximity of Basel and its rich cultural life and amazing, the three border region, with thermal waters in Germany, worldwide famous wineyards of Alsace, proximity of the Alps! Private parking in front of the house. Public transport in the village center which is 3-5 minutes walk. Bus nr 8 is direct to Basel and bus change to Basel center or Trainstation. Runs all day, but reservation have to be made off peak hours. Bus nr 2 gets you to direct tram and bus connections to Basel center within few stops. Taxi, uber available
