Our home is a California Bungalow, set in beautiful gardens and opposite a fenced park. Our guests would have a vintage inspired double bedroom with a chaise suitable for a child. In addition your own private lounge room has a large couch for an extra child. We are 10 min from Glenelg Beach and 5 minutes to the city and walking distance to the tram that joins both city and Glenelg. In addition train and bus transport are also nearby Your room has it's own entrance through french doors, leading out to private quiet area for you to enjoy. There are a variety of restaurants to choose from close by. Adelaide boasts one of the best Sports arena's, namely the famous 'Adelaide Oval' where you can enjoy the cricket in the summer and Aussie Rules football in Winter (Website hidden by Airbnb) South Australia is the gateway to outback Australia, taking in Uluru and Alice Springs. You have not tasted wines until you have indulged in South Australian Wines. We have the Barossa Valley, Southern Vales and Adelaide Hills just a lovely drive away. You can take on a Wine Tasting tour or venture out on your own. There is a lot of history in Adelaide, as we were the first state to be settled by free settlers. When our forefathers settled here there was a tremendous feeling of optimism in a new free world. You can see a lot of this in the German Village of Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills. We have brochures for you to peruse in your room...... You will have access to your own rooms which include a very large bedroom, private lounge and sole usage of a bathroom/toilet down the hallway. In addition, off your bedroom you have a verandah/patio overlooking a lush and private garden. By advanced arrangement a fully cooked breakfasts available. $15/person. A continental breakfast is inclusive in the quoted price Our house is located in a sort after area with large heritage housing nestled in lush gardens. We have an abundance of parks, bike trails and open parklands to walk your dog. Overall it is lovely, friendly, safe suburb in the perfect location to access all major events including the “ Mad March” art festivals, Adelaide Oval and the beaches. If you hire a car, there is parking facility right outside the front. We can honestly say, there is almost no crime rate in our suburb. Very safe. Our home is warm and friendly and we hope you enjoy your stay with us. Our names are Colleen and Bruce. We have both lived in Adelaide all our lives so there is not much we can not help you with regards info and tips. We have travelled extensively and enjoy meeting people from various parts of the world
