The Coop

This is a newly done up flat called The Coop known as a hideaway, just completed summer 2021, central to Castle Douglas. The flat is within walking distance from restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops. In at the edge of Castle Douglas is Carlingwark Loch, dotted with islands and great for boating and learning to sail and picnicking. There is a caravan park and kids' playground by the loch and at the far end of the loch is National Trust for Scotland's Threave Gardens. This flat is very central to Castle Douglas Main Street is a 5 mins walk, the park and grass area is straight across the road. Opposite is the main carpark. You can park outside the property or in the carpark. The kitchen living area is open plan with an area to seat and eat. There is also 2 bedrooms one holds a king size bedroom and the other has bunk bedrooms. There is a shower room which is near the back door. There is also an area for a washing machine and a tumble dryer too. At the bottom of the garden is an area of garden belonging to the cottage. Also an area outside the back door for seating out and having a BBQ. I am 15 mins drive away but I can be contacted by phone and can sort quickly if needed. Close to kids park, carpark, the little loch, near main town centre. A car is good to tour Dumfries and Galloway as a whole but there is a bus stop nearby just a 2 min walk. We are a 5 mins walk to the public swimming pool and a gym.
