Platypus Park Riverside Retreat offers unique accommodation nestled along the Burnett River. Our 50-acre property offers great views of the river where you can fish, waterski and enjoy the abundant wildlife there is offer. Close to famous Icons in Bundaberg and a local country pub near by to enjoy a meal at. You’ll love this place because of the outdoors space, relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. Our villa is fully self-contained and can sleep up to 7 guests. Our place is well suited for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups as well as camping. Guests have full access to the Villa accommodation and Barn facility We are situated 20 minutes from Bundaberg where there are many tourist opportunities for one to explore. Mon repo turtle rookery, Bundaberg rum distillery, Bundaberg brewed drinks, Macadamia Australia information centre cafe (The Orchard), Hinkler Hall of aviation, Ample beaches within 30 minutes of Platypus Park, explore the great barrier reef with day trips to Lady Musgrave island. As we welcome you to bring your pets, unfortunately due to allergies that other guests may have dogs are not permitted inside our villa. We do however have a gated verandah attached to the villa where your dog is welcome to sleep.
