Howes Creek Town Hall is a historic Mechanics Institute, 15 Minutes from Mansfield, 5 minutes from Goughs Bay (Lake Eildon) and 45 minutes from the top of Mt Buller. The B&B has a separate entrance, with a loft bedroom and open plan kitchenette and living room. Our property is surrounded by hundreds of picturesque acres of farmland, hills and mountains. It is a still, breath of fresh air away from hectic city life. Gaze at the stars as you drift off to sleep and wake up and listen to the birds. We are a young family who strive towards balanced work/ life commitments and who are striving towards a more self sustaining lifestyle. We have a large veggie garden, bake our own bread and are learning the art of preserving. There are fantastic local restaurants and great outdoor recreation activities close at hand (mountain biking, skiing, boating, paddling, hiking, rail trail or just enjoying the local surrounds) There is a separate entrance to the B&B space and your own car park for guests. There is plenty to see and do in the area. If you do like nice food, we love The following; Breakfast : The Coffee Merchant or The Produce Store Lunch : The Produce Store or any of the pubs. Dinner: The Fields. You will need a car to get around this area. We have a hard drive full of films. Great mobile phone reception but no NBN yet (3-4 bars of 3G).
