Villa Sali: luxury beach villa with staff!

Villa Sali is a luxury villa, beautifully situated directly on the beach and close to Lovina, the tourist town on the north coast of Bali. The villa has a large tropical garden and a beautiful infinity pool surrounded by a large terrace and a bale benong at the beach side. The villa has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, large living room and a large terrace with dining and lounge area. During your stay staff will be at your service 6 days per week, including a cook to prepare all your meals! The villa combines traditional Balinese architecture with modern day comforts. Many natural materials are used, including paras stone on the floors and granite and marble in the bathrooms and the kitchen. Also the tiles of the terrace floor outside are made of white paras stone. Eye-catcher of the villa is the high thatched roof made of original Balinese alang-alang grass. It also covers the front part of the terrace so you can always sit outside and enjoy the wonderful climate. In the evening, the roof is beautifully illuminated. The tastefully decorated villa can accommodate groups up to 8 persons. The villa has 4 stylish furnished bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with shower, toilet and sinks, a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and a large living room with a dining and sitting area with TV and DVD with surround system. The living room has sliding glass doors that can be opened entirely at the front, making the living room fully integrated with the terrace, garden and swimming pool. From the terrace you have a breathtaking view over the Bali sea! All bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans for a comfortable temperature. Three of the bedrooms have a double bed and one bedroom has two single beds. This bedroom shares a bathroom with one other bedroom. The other two bedrooms have a private bathroom. There are spacious built-in wardrobes available for your clothing in each bedroom and in one bedroom you find a safe deposit box for your personal belongings. Two bedrooms are located at the front of the villa overlooking the pool and the sea. The other two bedrooms are located at the rear of the villa with a beautiful view of the garden. Because of the location of the bedrooms on both sides of the villa you have a lot of privacy, also when you stay with multiple couples or families. The villa has a very large infinity pool of 72 square meters with a separate shallow children's pool of 18 square meters. The children's pool has also 4 water fountains. The pool has an 'overflow' to the beach side making it seem as if the water flows into the sea and gives you a breathtaking view! The villa offers several seating areas to relax. At the terrace surrounding the pool there are sun beds and parasols. Under the thatched roof you can enjoy your meals at the large dining table. Also at the terrace you will find a seating area with a lounge sofa to relax and enjoy the delightful evenings. And of course the bale benong at the beach side is not missing! This typical Balinese equivalent of a gazebo, with a mattress and lots of pillows allows you to experience the ultimate in relaxation. It is a great place to relax with a book, a drink, music or just to enjoy the great views over the sea. Also in the evening when the sun disappears with a red glow behind the mountains of Java in the distance and the sky will be filled by thousands of stars. The sunset at this coast is spectacular! The villa is surrounded by a large and beautiful landscaped garden with a lot of tropical trees and flowering plants all year round. From the garden you have your own access to the beach, so the beach and the sea are only a few steps away. Most of the year the sea at the north coast is calm with minor current and waves and the beach slopes gently into the sea and is therefore also suitable for children. After a swim in the sea you can rinse off the salt water at the outdoor shower. The location right at the beach gives you an unobstructed view over the sea and you will have your own beach front of 35 meters! During your stay hospitable and welcoming staff will be at your service 6 days per week (on Sundays they are normally off). They take care of the cleaning, the laundry, the grocery shopping and they can prepare the most delicious meals for you. In addition to a household help and a cook, the villa has a gardener to maintain the pool and the garden and a security guard in the evening and at night. The staff costs are fully included in the rental rate, so the preparing of all the meals by the staff is also included, only the groceries are at your own expense, however prices for food are still very low in Bali. The staff also can do the groceries for you, they go to the local market to buy fresh meat, fish, vegetables and fruit and to the supermarket to buy drinks, bread etc. You can choose yourselves what you want to eat every day, in the villa is a list with menu suggestions, but the staff can make all dishes, Western as well as Asian food, they are fantastic cooks! A lot of attention is paid to ensure comfort and luxury in and around the villa. Everything is done to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible. Your dream holiday comes true with a stay in this magnificent villa! The villa, gardens and swimming pool are located on a private property and are not shared with other guests. During your stay you have the exclusive use of the whole property. Some weeks prior to your arrival I will send you the information guide of the villa with more background of the villa, the service of the staff and nice suggestions to do and to see in the surroundings. In the villa you will find also a hard copy of this guide. After your arrival a contact person of our local helpdesk will visit you in the villa to welcome you in person. During your stay you can always contact the help desk, 24h a day, for any questions you might have. The phone number of the help desk is listed in the information guide. Of course I will be also reachable at any time by mail and phone. The surroundings provide ample scope for exploring, discovery and activities. Beautiful beaches, dolphin trips at sea, terraced rice-fields, plantations, mountains, temples and some nice villages and towns are close by, such as Lovina and Singaraja. This old capital of Bali is home to the Gedong Kirtya library where you will find the famous Lontar Manuscripts. South of Singaraja you find he most spectacular waterfall of Bali, the Git Git waterfall. About 10 minutes from the villa the Buddhist monastery, Brahma Vihara Arama, also called the little Borobodur, is worth a visit, just as the famous Hot Springs of Air Panas which are 5 minutes away. You will find wonderful snorkeling and diving sites, such as Menjangan Island and also one of the finest golf courses in Asia, the Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club, is just an hour's drive away. You will be surprised by this authentic part of Bali, more and more people are discovering the still pristine, unspoiled and authentic north coast of Bali! The best way to get around on Bali is with a car (own rental car or use the service of a car with driver) or locally by motorbike. This gives you the flexibility to explore the island and allows you to reach many places that are otherwise inaccessible. Public transport (buses) is cheap but can be cause for very long journeys if you’re not sticking to a major route. In addition, some places are just impossible to reach. Most of our guests use the services of a car with driver. For sightseeing tours you can use one of the drivers, arrangements can be made with the staff of the villa or our local help desk. The drivers speak all English and are also very good guides, they know the nicest places to visit on Bali! There are drivers available every day. The rate includes all the costs: • electricity • gas and water consumption • 10% tax • household help / cook • gardener • security • help desk • welcome package upon arrival • the first dinner and first breakfast after arrival • use of towels and bed linen • use of the washing machine • free Wi-Fi internet access Excluding the rental rate is the tourist tax (20.000 IDR per person to pay upon arrival to the helpdesk), the groceries for the food (except the first dinner and first breakfast is complimentary) and the transport to and from the villa. Additional services: • For your convenience, the staff can do all the groceries. You need to give them money in advance to go to the supermarket or to the local market. Afterwards they will provide you with receipts. The staff will only charge you a small fee (20.000 IDR) for the transportation costs. Prices for food are affordable, the cost of living is still very low in this northern part of Bali. • We are pleased to arrange the transport from the airport in Denpasar (or another place if you arrived already earlier on Bali) to the villa. The driver will pick you up and bring you comfortable with a private car to the villa. The cost of this transfer is 650.000 IDR for a 7-seater car suitable for 4 people plus luggage or 750.000 IDR for a large ca suitable for 5 or 6 people plus luggage. The costs for the transport are not included in the rental rate and have to be paid to the driver after arrival at the villa.
