Welcome to our spacious home! With polished wooden floors, earth walls and full-length windows throughout, you won't miss a moment of the natural wild weather and wildlife show of South Gippsland. The main area is large and perfect for entertaining with folding recycled Oregon doors to enclose yourself in a cosy lounge room for quiet reading or a family DVD. The master bedroom suite is very attractive and tucked away. It features a large king size bed and ensuite bathroom with an incredible view of Wilson's Promontory from the bath. 3 additional spacious bedrooms are perfect for other guests and kids. The main bathroom has a toilet, a large shower and bath. There is also a second toilet off the laundry. Bunk beds are in 2 of the rooms. All bathrooms have outstanding shower water pressure. An additional fifth bedroom can be made available to groups of 12 or more guests upon request. The kitchen is large and modern with lots of bench top workspace for entertaining or cooking for a big family. There are 2 fridges, a modern gas cooker and stove, a Miele quiet dishwasher and microwave. The very large open plan living space is very good for kids. The house is perfectly set up for families with a collection of kids books and toys, a 32" television with DVD player and large DVD collection with both adult and kids selections. There is also a separate TV/Video in the kid's bunk room for those times when you just need space! or there is a high quality table tennis table with bats and balls. There is a large, enclosed garden surrounded by natural bush, rainforest, fields and views. Deers, wombats, wallabies, kookaburras, rabbits, eagles and a host of other wildlife and birds are common as well as cows and sheep in adjoining paddocks. The garden is also perfect for kite flying and playing cricket, footy and other games. Let the kids run around whilst the adults enjoy a glass of wine on one of the spacious balconies overlooking Wilson's Prom or the woodland valley. If the weather does not permit, enjoy the prom or woodland valley from the comfort of the lounge area where the cosy wood heater or reverse cycle air conditioning ensures perfect temperatures during the hot or cold months at the flick of a switch. Full laundry facilities are provided with undercover parking for 2 cars. Odiyana Retreat is a 15min drive from the township of Foster and 20min from Meeniyan for coffee shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Only a 25-minute drive to stunning local beaches of Sandy Point and Waratah Bay, as well as the entrance to Wilson's Promontory National Park. Beautiful Towns of Foster and Meeniyan are a short drive away. Both have pubs, coffee shops and supermarkets. Stunning beaches within 30min. Wilson's promontory national Park is also within 30min. ***Please note that bookings for long weekends must be a minimum of 3 days. Bookings of less than 3 days on long weekends may be subject to decline or cancellation at any time for this reason*** Please note: Bedroom five is off carport and is available only to groups of 12 or more. Please let us know in advance if you will be needing this. Due to high demand, a minimum of 2 nights applies to all bookings. Late checkout (2 pm) is complimentary if no guests are booked following. Ramp access at the front door for wheelchairs. Please note tap water is directly from rainwater tanks and not filtered.
