Elenerie is a traditional four bedroom family friendly homestead situated on a working cattle farm, located in the rolling hills of Upper Lurg - 15 minutes from the township of Benalla. Perfect for couples or families wanting to explore the beautiful high country, visiting local wineries, historic towns and an ideal location for those visiting winton raceway. The homestead has a comfortable an open plan living, dining and kitchen area as well as four bedrooms. The homestead sleeps a maximum of 7 guests 3 Queen Beds 1 King Single Bed Large wood fire ( wood provided) Large screen TV Free Wifi DVD Player and an assortment of DVD’s for guests to enjoy. Evaporative cooling Large Bbq Outdoor seating For those that enjoy cooking the modern kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cook top, large electric oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and walk in pantry. Coffee, tea & breakfast cereals are provided as well as a well stocked pantry for guests to use. Lovely farm fresh eggs and bacon are also provided for all of our guests. Bread and seasonal fruit & vegetables are also supplied. The homestead also has evaporative cooling throughout to keep you lovely and cool on those warm summer days The master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with private en-suite, bedroom tv, walk in wardrobe and direct access to the verandah. At the other end of the house there is three bedrooms. Two of these bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds and the third bedroom has a king single bed. All have access to the main bathroom which includes a toilet, basin, shower and large bath tub The laundry has a washing machine, iron and ironing board also available for guests to use Washing machine powder is provided All bedding and towels are provided. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash is also supplied The gardens sounding the homestead have some lovely areas for children to play along with a large bbq and outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy Mobile phone reception is best with Telstra in the homestead and surrounding yard The owner, Rob, lives on the property in a separate building. Rob is friendly and easy going and happy to help if you have any queries. Our guests privacy is very important to us and we hope that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Elenerie is a great place for families or couples, wanting to visit the King Valley or Milawa food and wine regions, for race teams participating at Winton Raceway or even for a short stop over when travelling between Melbourne and Sydney or Canberra. For the race car enthusiasts we are 10 mins drive from Winton Raceway and 15 minutes to the nearest town, Benalla. We have plenty of secure parking space for cars and trailers. IMPORTANT INFO Please read our house rules and check our location prior to booking to make sure we are in the right location for you. We are a farm and therefore not located in town. Please list ALL your guests in your reservation. We are 15 minutes from the nearest town, Benalla, which has a couple of supermarkets, bakeries, pubs, restaurants and take away venues. We cannot accept dogs inside the house or on the property, this includes service and support dogs, as we have two much loved dogs, Harvey & Pepper, that live on site already. If you have any queries please just ask we are happy to help. Guests can access all areas of the farm except the dams, sheds and the owners cottage nearby. Please respect our animals and shut gates behind you Owner and farm manager Rob lives on site in a separate cabin not far from the main homestead. At times Rob will be about working on the farm or tending to the livestock . Rob is not always on-site but is friendly and easy going and always happy to assist you with any queries you may have. The farm is also home to alpacas and chooks and two friendly dogs.
