Not far from the town centre (Mall Road) and still cut from the commercial commotion our home is located in a beautiful valley, facing the mesmerising hills of Shimla. Apart from the room you get to enjoy our living room & balcony offering an amazing views of the Shivalik hills, our dining area, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and 100% clothes' dryer. -A happy home cooked continental breakfast. You will be sharing the house with us (a couple), however your privacy will be respected. We are friendly and open for chats, if you are interested and we have some amazing stories and experiences of the hills to share with you. We are traditional mountain people in the sense that we love hosting guests and meeting new people, many a times having built eternal friendships from similar experiences. And just like the mountain way, we will help you out in every possible way to make your stay a memorable one. Located in a valley adjoining the forests but a well inhabited area. So this is just right for you if you love to stay close to the nature and love nature walks, easy treks and some running/cycling trails. Few to-dos in Shimla that are walkable from our home and only the locals can tell you about: -glen forest trek (3km) -golcha village trek (1.9km) -annadale valley walk (1.5km) -army heritage museum (1.2km) -annadale golf course(1.3km) If you are lucky, you can also spot some wildlife while driving through the forest roads late in the night. Foxes, Deers and even Leopards! We understand how uneasy it gets to drive in the hills and the difficulty in finding a parking spot. So we offer - Drop and pick up from our home to the Mall Road nearby (extra charges) - Drive in with reserved parking We can also arrange a local taxi for sight seeing and to get you around the Shimla at nominal rates. And if you are a running or cycling enthusiast, our neighborhood is a paradise for you. We can also arrange for: - Heaters & hot water bottles, to beat the chill - Additional blankets and duvets The room is ideal for 2 persons in winters. However, 1 more person can be comfortably accommodated with a separate mattress that we provide (additional charges apply) Kids not allowed. The house is on the third floor, so you will have to walk a bit over an easy flight of stairs, just as the norm is in one of the fittest cities of India.
