nDalem Natan Royal Heritage, your home in Jogja

A heritage house that serves as guest house, art galleries and cafe. It offers a warm nostalgia of Kotagede, the former capital city of Javanese Mataram kingdom. It is located in a friendly neighborhood, with many historic and interesting places to visit. Kotagede traditional market, silver shops, royal cemetery, the oldest mosque in Jogja, are among them. Spending time in nDalem Natan Royal Heritage is a delightful moment to remember. We have 12 bedrooms, but we only rent out 10 rooms which are equipped with closet, en-suite bathroom, air conditioner, cable television, free internet connection, and coffee & tea making facilities. Each room is unique, furnished with antique and vintage furnitures , its interior adopts Javanese and European styles. The house has several public areas, suitable for gatherings and various other events. You can order meals from the cafe, while breakfast is provided either in the cafe or in one of the dining areas inside the house. Guests are welcome to use the public areas and wander around the house, to look at our craft shop, art gallery and museum. The house is staffed 24/7. If I am not home, a butler will be available to assist the guests. Kotagede is a very old and historic town. It is home to some archeological sites and is well known as a silver town where you can find many silver shops and silver smiths working on their wares. Kotagede has many small alleys where you can rambling through by foot or by bike. nDalem Natan is about 20 minutes by car from Adisucipto International Airport and 30 minutes from Tugu train station. Giwangan is the nearest bus terminal which can be reached in 15 minutes by car, but the closest bus stop is two minutes by foot. Buses go to the city centre ( Malioboro) and near tourist area of Prawirotaman. Taxis, horsecarts/delman and rickshaws/becak are easy to find in the neighbourhood. The white sandy beach of Parangtritis is one hour away to the South, while the famous Prambanan temple is one hour ride to the East. We can arrange for pick-up or delivery from or to the airport or train stations with an additional charge of Rp 75,000 one way. We can also arrange for car rentals, trips inside and outside Yogyakarta.
