The Gembrook Snow Globe Suite

The Snow Globe Suite is a gorgeous, modern, light and airy one bedroom apartment situated in the very heart of Gembrook. A romantic stay for two at the Snow Globe Suite places you within a minute's walk to outstanding cafes and restaurants, Puffing Billy at Gembrook Station, beautiful forest walks and a stunning apartment view of the Warburton Ranges. Relax, refresh and take in all that beautiful Gembrook has to offer, all from the centre of town and in the romantic Snow Globe Suite. The beautiful Snow Globe Suite features one large bedroom with a sumptuous king size bed, views over the Warburton Ranges and full ensuite featuring shower and separate bath. There’s a large, bright and luxe lounge area with a 50" smart TV, offering all your favourite streaming services and ultra fast NBN wifi. Full cooking facilities and unlimited tea/coffee pods (plus many pantry staples) are on offer in the open kitchen and dining area. Relax in the full size bathtub or sit on the wonderful front or rear balconies and feel the stress melt away. The apartment is located upstairs and has a wonderful view of both the mountains and Main Street. For your convenience, the laundry includes a washer and dryer plus iron and ironing board. You will have full access to the apartment’s main bedroom, open lounge, dining and kitchen areas and full bathroom including bath tub. You will also have full access to the laundry and both balconies. There is a small front room which will be locked and inaccessible during your stay. However, that room is unoccupied and you will have complete privacy during your visit. I live and work in Gembrook and my office is in the second room in the apartment, which will be locked during your stay. However, I live only a 5 minute walk away and will be available for anything you need, at any time. Gembrook is such a beautiful place and we are truly spoiled for choice when it comes to dining. The Independent is an outstanding choice for dinner with its Argentinian share plates and relaxed, chilled vibe. "The Local" pub is cozy and friendly with a pool table, brilliant pub steaks and parmas and excellent cocktails. Station House Pizza is also run and owned by Andrew and Lisa who own The Local - absolutely brilliant pizza and Italian fare. If you're looking for something a little more casual then Gembrook Fish & Chips is also renowned for it's very good battered flake! When it comes to daytime dining, Spencers Cafe is approximately 200 metres up Main Street (on the same side of the road as the IGA, to the left of the apartment) - Spencers has a very deserved reputation for the best coffee for miles and a focus on fresh, local ingredients for tasty breakfasts, lunches and sweets. The Hairy Dog Cafe, within just a few steps of the apartment also offers super yummy breakfast, lunch and sweets. For the best fresh bakery goods, don't go past Gembrook Bakery and for any home cooking or groceries, you're within a few steps of the Gembrook IGA. Whichever choice you make, tell them you're staying at Leah's place in Main Street and you'll be well looked after! After all that food, you may want to enjoy a walk through the Station Master's trail which runs alongside Puffing Billy's tracks and takes you through a rather magical forest walk before coming on the famous potato paddocks of Gembrook. Main Street also has some lovely stores such as CK Elements - a crystal and gem gift store that has a remarkable and well priced range of crystals, gem stones, jewellery and other giftware. And on the right day there's the antiques store and Motorist Museum. The Snow Globe Suite is conveniently located right in the centre of Main Street Gembrook, meaning you are literally only a few steps from all shops, restaurants and cafes. Please do be aware that this central location means some street noise on occasion. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing ear plugs to avoid any late night or early morning disruptions. Gembrook is serviced by public buses traveling to either Pakenham or Belgrave and there are bus stops all along Main Street. Most likely you'll be driving, so if visiting the Dandenong Ranges for the weekend you could choose to go as far as Olinda, Sassafras or Belgrave, with closer options being Emerald and Cockatoo. Generally with beautiful walking tracks around Gembrook and through to Cockatoo, you will certainly find yourself enjoying the countryside close to the apartment if you prefer a slower pace.
