Furnished, bright, air conditioned studio OR family garden apartment with leafy and peaceful aspect. To suit different budgets and guest numbers, this listing offers the option of either a self contained studio suitable for a single/couple OR add an additional room with 3 extra beds to suit a total of 3-5 guests. Both include the deck overlooking the pool where you can relax or enjoy meals. The apartment is located higher up in the rear yard of our property but has reasonable separation from the main residence where we live. The pool is shared but you are free to use it whenever you like, and we will work around your usage. This accommodation would suit guests requiring a quieter, relaxed accommodation away from, but accessible to, the city's hustle and bustle. If you have booked the studio, you have access to the whole property except the main house which is our home and where we live, and also the second room in the flat will be closed off. If you have booked the entire apartment, then the same as above except that the additional room is also part of your space. The deck is all yours and a great place to dine seating at least 5 people. The pool is great in summer, and solar heated in the shoulder seasons. Please use the pool whenever you like - we will work around your usage. We live in the main house on the property and therefore are generally around and happy to answer questions, help with any issues or supply any further more obscure items you may need in the kitchen/bathroom etc. Please feel free to contact us via the Airbnb messages, mobile text/call or come and knock on the door. Wahroonga is a leafy suburb 'in the bush' on Sydney's Northshore. The air is clean and you are surrounded by nature. It is in close vicinity of Ku-ring-gai National Park and Bobbin Head, Hawkesbury River and Brooklyn, Lane Cove National Park, The Great North Walk and bushwalking and camping opportunities. It is a 5 minute drive to the start of the F3 freeway heading north out of Sydney to the Central Coast, Newcastle and beyond and it is approximately equidistant from both the Central Coast beaches and some of Sydneys northern beaches. It is also a 5 minute walk to the San Hospital making it ideal for people requiring accommodation in connection with the hospital. It is handy to have your own car here but not essential. We are a 35 minute train trip into the centre of the city and you need to reach the station by a bus that departs metres from the door. Bus and train time tables are available. Upon arrival, and if you are arriving by train, we can meet and greet you at the station to help transport luggage if it does not clash with our work times etc. Parking is no problem out the front on our quiet street.
