A quaint little self catered cabin in the heart of Erica. A perfect place to stay for the Mountain Rivers Region and taking in all it has to offer. Situated in the heart of Erica on a hill with 180 degree superb views. Can sleep up to 4 people but is best suited to couples or young families. We can only accommodate 3 adults max (couple & an additional adult). Situated on farmland with sheep, chickens and neighbouring horses and ponies in the paddocks. Pets Welcome! Local wildlife often sighted of kookaburras, cockatoos and other parrots, wallabies, deer & wombats. Farm views including sheep, lambs, horses, ponies, chickens and guinea fowls. Close to Mt Baw Baw, Historical Walhalla and many walking and hiking trails. Located in the heart of Erica walking distance to the local cafe, pub, general store local kids park, Berry farm (seasonal) and ski hire (seasonal). Please note the cabin is situated at the back of the property. Access via the first driveway closer to the paddock side. Drive past the front White House and park in front of the garage. Access the cabin easily via stairs. Available 8am-9pm Great place to relax and unwind or get out and explore! 180 degree views of mountains and bush lands. Local wildlife often sighted of kookaburras, cockatoos and other parrots, wallabies, deer & wombats. Farm views including sheep, lambs, horses, ponies, chickens and guinea fowls. Beautiful hikes and National park walks. Local Cafe, Pub, General Store, Post office, great children park, Berry Farm (seasonal) and Ski Hire (seasonal). 25 mins to Historical town of Walhalla- gold mine yours, train rides and ghost tours as well as picturesque walks. 40 mins to Mt Baw Baw & Mt St Gwinear. During winter chains MUST be carried (can be hired in town from Erica ski hire). 20 minutes to Thompson Dam. Local coin operated laundry facilities at the Erica Caravan Park. Endless walking and hiking tracks to suit all ages and abilities. Enduro track for mountain bike enthusiasts. Even fantastic riding trails for horses and dirt bikes! Local accommodation yards available for your horses. Amazing 4WD tracks too!! No smoking inside the premises, ashtray provided on patio deck. All linen provided and mini toiletries (soap, shampoo & conditioner). Additional towels available on request. Additional pillows and blankets located in the wardrobe in the main bedroom. Please leave out any additional items you use so they may be laundered. Pets welcome. Dogs must be on leash at all times outside and not left alone unsupervised in the cabin and not allowed on furniture/beds. Please let us know at the time of initial booking what type pets, how many and breed please. Neighbouring horses are friendly but please do not feed them. Kitchen amenities include Mini convention oven, electric stove top single burner, microwave, electric fry pan, slow cooker, electric barbecue (outside), toaster and kettle. We do supply salt, pepper & spray oil. Kitchen is well equiped with cutlery,plates and other kitchen items. We also supply tea, coffee, sugar and 200ml milk suffice for a day or 2. Please note that use of linen and porta cot or bedding for children under 2 will incur a $20 extra fee. Please advise at initial booking. Please refer to our cabin manual for additional information during your stay. We do not charge a cleaning fee so we do ask that the cabin is left in a clean and tidy manner otherwise a cleaning fee at checkout will occur if an additional $50. Lost or broke keys incur a $50 replacement fee. Strictly no parties or additional guests or visitors without prior consent. Please message us when you first arrive and when you checkout. If you don’t already have it please download the Airbnb app as this is our preferred method of contact. Double vaccinated guests only please. Ineligible guests due to age or health fine but proof will be requested and must be provided at time of booking. Whilst we do have a strict cancellation policy we do offer a full refund if you’re unable to due to snap lockdowns or unable to travel due to restrictions.
