Highvale Cottage

We offer a delightful, cosy self contained 1 bedroom cottage set on a beautiful green 5 acre block surrounded by idyllic countryside. We are a 10 Minute drive from Samford Village, 30 minutes from Brisbane city and 45 mins to Brisbane airport The Cottage is separate from the main house and private. The cottage has one bedroom with ensuite bathroom, with a separate lounge and kitchen. The well equipped kitchen includes a full size fridge and freezer, oven, stove top, range hood, toaster, kettle and microwave. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and a built in robe, with plenty of storage and hanging space. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, washing machine, laundry tub, iron and ironing board. There is a clothes line outside the laundry. There are freshly laundered towels for your use and always fresh bed linen on the beds for your arrival (spare bed linen available in the bathroom cupboard if required along with additional towels.) The lounge has a double sofa bed, TV with normal channels and DVD player. The dining area has a 4 seater table There is seating outside the front of the cottage to enjoy the view An outdoor bin is provided at the back of the cottage We also have plenty of room for parking on the grass in front of the cottage We provide tea, coffee and fresh milk for your arrival There is no internet connection - take a break or use your hotspot from your mobile. We live in the main house and are always on hand to give any assistance, but we would like you to feel that this is your private space when you stay. Samford Village can be reached within a 10 min drive where you will find a local supermarket, butcher, an organic shop, a great selection of good quality cafes, restaurants and shops, monthly markets and even a Harry Potter Store.. There are many local hiking trails available. Discover the stunning rain forest of Mount Glorious or enjoy a swim in the nearby swimming holes of Cedar Creek. We are a 10 Minute drive from Samford Village, 35 minutes from Brisbane city and 45 mins to Brisbane airport There is no public transport in walking distance, the closest train station (Ferny Grove) is a 15 minute drive
