Strategically located to visit Siena and surroundings, San Gimignano, San Galgano, Volterra … The old warehouses of a historic farmhouse dating back to 1100 house two adjacent apartments overlooking a garden of lavender. From the top of the hill, all afound forests, vineyards and olive groves and an incomparable view beyond. The excitement of the silence of nature that surrounds the farm makes this place precious. The front door opens onto a field of thyme and fennel to the edge of the oak forest, bathed in the light of the full moon or illuminated by thousands of fireflies: The swallows that fill the sky during the day give way in the evening to crickets, until the arrival of the night with unbelievable starry skies. The apartment can accommodate three people, who can become seven/eight if we add the house nextdoor. Despite being secluded from the heavy traffic, the location allows easy access to many of the most visited but also lesser-known little gems of this part of Tuscany. Besides enjoying the peace of nature, guests can visit the olive grove, the vineyards and the winery where we produce an excellent Chianti and a great Super Tuscan. For those who prefer to relax with a good read, perhaps about art and local history, the villa offers a well-stocked library where to find a fine a book to flip through under the trees in the garden. For those who like to walk, with or without a guide but definitely without too much effort, we studied trekking and Nordic walking tours that will take you to explore the area starting right from home. last but not least, if the past is what thrills you, between the owners hides an archaeologist ... available to organize guided tours. The owners are ready to help guests in solving any problem, as well as to provide suggestions and indications to axlore the surroundings ... and are always happy to have a chat over a cutting board of local products and a glass of wine The "casine" of Reniere are surrounded by nature. You cannot miss the magic of fireflies in June evenings, the rest in the shade of an oak in the summer afternoon, the scent of the must during the harvest, the colors of the forest and the vineyard on the first autumn and the starry sky in the clear winter nights. There's no public transport to and from the Reniere...a car is the most convenient solution to be indipendent On request we can arrange transfers to and from Siena or to the nearest airport (Firenze Peretola), and in Rosia (the nearest village) bicycles for rent are available. A similar house is nextdoor, just in case you might like to have a wider group of friends. We can arrange a pick-up from the nearest railway stations (Siena or Poggibonsi)
