Rotoehu Whanau Home with views & so much space!

Our home is a warm, calming and whanau (family) friendly space FULL OF AROHA! Also we welcome pets (we have 2 English Staffys) Very comfortable beds, huge open and light living areas, 180~deg views even from the master suite & all the amenities you'll need. Just bring food & your clothes! It's 500 meters up from the lake, 2km from the natural Waitangi Soda Springs, 5 minutes from Lake Rotoma, 10 minutes from Lake Rotoiti ~read on for more! This is our fulltime home which we would love to share with you. Do not come here if you want 5 star, pristine clean, streak free windows, rubber glove dust free surfaces. Your bed will be bloody comfortable, it'll be clean, you'll have heaps of spare towels, blankets and pillows galore. You'll have a great breakfast with the Kai we leave for you and you will just love love love the view. Our home is lived in and full of aroha. Come and book our home if you want a HOME. It'll have every utensil, item, first aid, stationery, foods and extras you'll need. It will very comfortably sleep 8 people and we even welcome you to bring an airbed or two if you don't mind the closeness. It has all the home comforts you can imagine. It has a big open plan lounge, dining room, and kitchen. Big windows with northeast views so you can sit and watch the sunset with your bottle or glass of whatever :-) The kitchen is very well equipped with a toaster, whistling kettle, nutribullet, microwave, juicer, rice cooker, yogurt maker, dishwasher, 6 burner gas hob, massive oven, and the fridge has an ice maker & filtered water. Also know we have tea, coffee (instant & plunger) hot chocolate, oil, salt, all the plates, pots and pans your heart desires. It's ready for you to come to eat & drink! Master suite: 1 x king bed with views to the lake & forest Bedroom 2: 1 x Super King bed or with notice we can split it into 2 x single beds) Bedroom 3: 1 x King Single bed Lounge: 2 x Single floor mattress (tucked away in wardrobe if you don't need) 2 x Bathrooms, one has a bath with a shower over the top and the master has a shower. We have also had big deck that you can close off if your pup/dog is a wanderer, a small grassy area and you will be free to explore our acre of forest surroundings (you may even find the treehouse out the back) If it's pouring, it's still beautiful so stay indoors and cosy up with a DVD or use the provided Chrome Cast. Lake Rotoehu is a very safe and peaceful lake with minimal boats in summertime. For other lake options, you also have Lake Rotoma 5 minutes and Lake Rotoiti a 10-minute drive. If boating isn’t your thing you can head to the popular Waitangi Soda Hot Springs only a 3-minute drive down the road for a relaxing soak in the natural thermal pools. The local cafe Lake Rotoma is a 5-minute drive for casual dinner (seasonal hours) or a relaxed lunch with local dairy and gas station together with a liquor store. The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities from; bush walks, waterskiing, swimming, kayaking, mountain biking, motor cross, four-wheel driving or simply the solitude of fishing for rainbow trout. We have a great deal with Rotoiti Sports Club 10 minutes down the road, it has a gym, park and fields to exercise the dog :) You will have access to the entire house and if you need too, ask to use the garage (excuse the mess) The things that will be locked up are a couple of cupboards and the laundry where we will store our personal items (as this is our family home) Both my husband and I will be available via email, msg or phone call. Welcome to Lake Rotoehu! Our neighborhood is very quiet, to say the least. The rowdiest chirpers are the Tui and the Kereru. It's mainly holiday homes, lodges and very nice people indeed. Our home is only 400m from the lakes edge. There is parking for up to 5 vehicles on the property (plus the garage) Also room to turn around up the driveway :-) There is also no public transport we know of apart from a bus stop 2.5 km away on State Highway 30.
