This 1968 light and cosy apartment is in a small group of six. One bedroom comprises a queen bed and the other a king single bed plus a rollaway bed or sofa bed. The rollaway bed is only for young children - when it's out there's not much space left in the bedroom. The apartment comfortably fits 3 with a maximum of 4 guests. Our Goodwood Apartment is furnished in 60s retro style while providing contemporary, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, including modern essentials such as clothes washer and dryer, ironing facilitates and hair dryer. We offer great deals for longer term stays and repeat visitors. You will have access to the whole apartment, laundry and carport for one vehicle, as well as the front garden. The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen appliances and utensils, laundry basket and pegs, ironing board and iron - all you need for your home-from-home. We, Colin and Catherine, love to welcome guests in person and are contactable and available for questions or concerns. We live just round the corner from the apartment. In a short walk you will find a range of restaurants and cafes, a French-style award-winning boulangerie, supermarket, greengrocer, butcher, pharmacy and post office. Every Sunday morning the Adelaide Farmers' Market - voted the best in Australia - is a five minute walk away. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the beautiful Art Deco Capri Theatre (cinema), a funky new wine bar, a Nepali restaurant, a cafe and a cosy French restaurant. Goodwood is perfect for getting around by foot, bike, car or public transport. It is a terrific area for cycling, with the Mike Turtur Bikeway taking you to Glenelg quicker than driving and other easy bike paths to the city and intersecting with the Linear Park which follows the River Torrens from the hills to Henley Beach. The city is a 5-10 minute drive/20 minute cycle (3.8 km to Victoria Square, Central Markets), airport 15-20 minutes by taxi, interstate bus and train services are less than 10 minutes by taxi. Public transport options: Bus stop: 50 m (Flinders University, Flinders Medical Centre, Marion Shopping Centre). Tram stop: 600 m (Glenelg Beach, City, Entertainment Centre) Millswood railway station: 550 m (city, Belair National Park) Goodwood railway station: 800 m (city, Brighton, Somerton Park, Seacliff, Noarlunga Centre, Seaford, Belair National Park ).
