Little Lake Studio - a beachside apartment

Stylish, light-filled studio apartment across the road from Warilla Beach and just metres from the Little Lake. Relax with comfortable furniture, modern fittings and absolutely everything you need for a beach getaway on the beautiful South Coast, in Shellharbour City. Our studio apartment is perfect for a single guest or a couple. It’s quite small, but if you’re travelling with a new baby and you bring your own travel cot, that’s fine - however, it's not really spacious enough for a toddler on the move! Beach towels, books, magazines, cards, board games, WIFI and TV streaming services - including Netflix, Stan, Binge and Amazon Prime - all provided. The apartment has one queen size bed, a fridge, microwave, single element induction cooktop, a coffee machine, a toasted sandwich maker, a flat screen TV and sound bar for your comfort and enjoyment. Reverse cycle air conditioning will keep you comfortable all year round. There are also spare surfboards and a paddle board available for use on our beautiful beach. Enjoy sea breezes, beach walks, fishing, surfing, paddling and estuary swims or kilometres of safe cycleway along the beautiful coastline. Self check-in with key in lockbox. Code provided on confirmation of booking. You can access the studio apartment by walking straight down the driveway, through the vine-covered gate. The studio is directly ahead. The lockbox with the key is on the left of the studio door. Pull down the little black window, put in the code and then push down on the button and pull down the whole front of the lockbox - the front door and security door keys are inside. Please return them when you checkout. Robert and I are semi-retired teachers and love where we live. We are fully vaccinated against Covid and happy to share our little slice of paradise with you. We are surrounded by pristine waterways and parks, including the famous Killalea National Surfing Reserve, home of popular surf spots like The Farm and Mystics, with Windang Island at the northern end of our beach and The Shallows just down the road past Shellharbour City. Enjoy a kayak or SUP experience? plenty of choices for that too - head to Lake Illawarra or Minnamurra River. We're 5 minutes drive from Shellharbour Village, which is a perfect destination for boutique shopping, cafes, restaurants, day spas and a pub with a view. Warilla Bowls Club and The Shellharbour Club are nearby. We're 5 minutes drive from Shellharbour City Centre which has a large shopping mall that includes Myer, Target, JBHi-Fi, numerous specialty stores, supermarkets and an 8 screen Event Cinema multiplex up the road. Lots of choices for day trips and outings - about 15 minutes drive to the southern township of Kiama. 35 minutes from the very quaint country town Berry. 45 minutes from Bowral and Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands. 30 minutes from Jamberoo Action Park and Minnamurra Rainforest. If you enjoy wine-tasting why not visit some of the Shoalhaven boutique wineries - Silos, Two Figs, Coolangatta and Mountain Ridge are just some of our favourites. Plenty of fishing spots, coastal cycleways or bush walking tracks nearby. Lots to do! South Coast living at its best. Kerbside street parking for motorists. A haven for walkers and cyclists, with many kilometres of coastal and lakeside cycleways. There are buses along Shellharbour Rd and the closest train station is Oak Flats. We have a NO pet policy, although we are pet lovers. This is because we have a small family dog - Maxi the Moodle - that lives on the property and we don't want to risk conflict between animals.
