Beach Flat

Our place is just a few streets up from the beach. Our neighbourhood is friendly and generally quiet, although naturally busier on key holiday weekend, and we are located close to the many stunning beaches in our area. Our place is good for individuals or couples, with space for an extra portable camp bed if needed. We invite you to stay with us in your own fully self contained flat, downstairs from our family home. The flat is directly underneath our living area, so there is some transfer of noise - you will hear our footsteps at certain times of the day, although we are careful and our guests tell us it’s generally quiet - we are a family however! We use only natural products such as ‘Eco Store’ and ‘Only Good’ for cleaning and washing. Our bedding is natural products such as cotton, feather, or wool. So come and breathe easy! We are 5 mins walk to the local shops one way, and the lovely Snells Beach the other. 10 mins drive to Martin's Bay, 10 mins to Matakana and it's fabulous markets. You have your own private entrance, which is adjacent to our family's entrance. By arrangement, guests may use our barbecue and pool area, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. We love to host and share our local knowledge with you, and our kids love treating guests as super special.... you are welcome to call on us as much or as little as you prefer. Snells Beach shopping centre is 5 or so mins walk away. With the Warehouse, local cafes, takeaways, fruit and veg shop, fish and dive shop and a Superette. Our immediate neighbourhood is generally quiet and peaceful....although like most beach locations, comes alive over the key holidays in summer. This property is not suitable for smokers due to sensitivity of our family. Home cooked meals could be on offer by negotiation. Tea, coffee and milk is provided on your arrival.
