Eden Homestay - 2 bedrooms

Our 1915 character home, is set in a cottage garden.The B&B is NOT a stand-alone building but part of our home. With its own entrance, it joins our home through internal lockable doors. Your group will be the ONLY guests booked. There are 2 bedrooms; one of which is a Master bedroom with ensuite. Guests have use of 1.5 bathrooms, living area/kitchenette, laundry. You can be private and self contained, or interact with hosts as you wish or need. Our guest accommodation is set back from the road. We have safe off street parking. ROOMS & COSTS The master bedroom has a KING bed which can separate into 2 singles. The second bedroom has a QUEEN bed that can separate into 2 narrow singles. The sofa-bed in the living area is available when both bedrooms are being utilised. The cost for this bed is $35 per PERSON per night. Our absolute maximum number of guests is 6 including use of sofa bed. One night only stays are at full quoted price. refer to discounts for 2 nights or more. CLEANING We have a one off cleaning fee of $50, per booking. For stays 7 nights or longer, guests are to clean their own bathrooms, kitchen and living area and bedrooms. (Bed linen and cleaning products supplied by hosts. FACILITIES We are close to Hutt hospital, Open Polytechnic, The Learning Connexion, train and bus routes. Bedrooms include wardrobes, drawers, electric blankets, fans/heaters [we have central heating available in the winter], bedside lamps, chairs/seating, access to power points, area for bags/suitcases. Bed linen, bathroom towels etc, hand and body wash and shampoo included in the price. We also have available a port-a-cot, with linen provided if required, a highchair, and a baby bath. We have toys, games and books for children. The guest area has a kitchenette with small cooker [bakes and grills], an electric element, electric wok, pots etc, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and jug. Your self catering breakfast provisions will be in the fridge, and on a tray. These consist of different cereals, canned fruit, yoghurt, breads, a variety of toast spreads, orange juice, spring water [sourced locally] teas, [including regular and herbal], instant coffee, plunger coffee and milo. There is also books, games, magazines, puzzles, TV, with a selection of channels and Netflix, also DVD/CD player. Laundry facilities with washer/dryer are in a cupboard in the hallway, which is a SHARED space with hosts. The guest area has it own entry with 3 steps and handrail and is connected to host living areas by internal lockable doors. Your hosts, Tony and Ngaire have extensive knowledge of the local area and what is available to see and do. We can help with ideas and suggestions, not only of local Lower Hutt and Wellington attractions but other points of interest not usually considered by visitors. Lower Hutt is a city which is part of greater Wellington. We live in a residential area and we are opposite the Waiwhetu stream. We are close to Epuni railway station, and a little further from Waterloo Interchange, which has free parking. Leave your car and catch the train to Wellington. We are a few hundred metres to a good bus service to Lower Hutt Westfield Mall, Queensgate. Water in Lower Hutt is safe to drink, from the tap. In addition to this , we supply spring water at Eden Homestay for drinking, which is sourced locally.
