Situated in the Beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland is our Country Accommodation . Our Retreat is a Wild Life Haven set amongst 66 picturesque acres. We are only 20 mins to Tamborine Mtn, 40 mins to the Gold Coast & 40 mins to Brisbane City If you are looking for a quiet private relaxing getaway then this is it. Our retreat is perfect for those wanting to just simply sit back and relax during the day then at night cosy up with the indoor fireplace / outdoor fire pit and enjoy each other's company. The Accommodation is situated at the Rear of the main house in a private setting on the hill several metres away overlooking the Cedar Creek Valley and the property. Note again.... Guest House Is TOTALLY SEPERATE from the main house on the property. Guest house contains .. 1 x Queen bed situated in the main Bedroom. 1 x Queen Bed situated on top level LOFT STYLE Bedroom 2 x Bunk beds lower floor Bedroom. 2 x Trundles situated under bunks Porta cot available upon request The guest house is air conditioned. Inside the home you will find an open plan living/ dining room with a fully equipped Kitchen with fridge, oven a microwave and Espresso Coffee Machine. Coffee Pods supplied also. Tea, sugar, long life milk, Oil, sauces, salt and pepper also provided. We do ask that you please keep kitchen clean and tidy. The Guest house has 2 Bathrooms Tv/ Dvd player Ipod dock Indoor Wood Fireplace Dvds, Board Games, Library, childrens toys An Baby Safety gate is installed at bottom of mezzanine stairs and an safety gate around indoor fireplace. An Pull out double bed Sofa lounge located in the lounge area is available also. All fresh bed linen and towels are provided. Mobile phone coverage is poor out here. Telstra is the strongest coverage. There is also no Wi Fi Our Outside entertainment area boasts an large undercover pergola dining area overlooking the beautiful festoon lit up firepit area. An BBQ and Pizza oven is provided for your convenience. Bring your pizza bases and toppings and cook your own pizza creations. When night falls sit around the fire pit and toast some delicious marshmallows . In windy conditions or if an Total fire ban in our shire is in place the outdoor fire pit can not be used. Firewood is provided to get you started, extra firewood can be purchased for $10 a bag. Please note: NO bed linen, blankets to be taken outside around the fire pit as this is a fire hazard There is lots to do and see here at the Retreat, Come and enjoy the scenery in our ever green beautiful valley. Pat and feed the Horses, Our 2 very friendly Dogs, 2 Alpacas, 2 sheep, lots of Silkie Chickens, and Brahma chickens also. We have Laying hens that will provide you with fresh farm eggs daily. You can even feed the wild life, the birds will eat out of your hands. You may be lucky enough to see an Baby Chick hatching here also. All Animals are vaccinated, also tetanus, and worming is always up to date.. Please note.... when feeding horses and the Alpacas they can sometimes think your fingers are food so please be careful. We hold no responsibility for love bites from our big furry friends. We do have a few Roosters here as I breed Silkie and Brahma Chickens and YES they do crow early in the mornings. So please be aware of this. Please note...unfortunately we do not allow pets at our retreat but very close buy is an pet resort in which you furry friend can holiday at. for contact details please ask us. if you are booking is for 6 guests then 6 guests it must be. Please No Visitors Any extra guests will be asked to kindly leave Music is to be low and cease by 10pm sharp. We must respect our neighbours and be mindful that noise travels far in the still of the night in Bush like settings. RE Covid Safety- Our BnB is cleaned after each booking by a professional cleaner and all surfaces wiped down thoroughly. Hand sanitiser is provided upon entering the BnB and throughout the home. Please note (We cannot hold Weddings here unfortunately) Plunkett Villa is close by us if your looking at wedding venues on acreage definitely check them out. Access details will be given upon your arrival via airbnb message when your booking date gets closer. Undercover parking on site for 1 car ouside room for other cars also We reside in the main house which is situated on the property also. The Farmstay Accomodation is TOTALLY SEPERATE from the main house. We value your privacy and are happy to leave you to enjoy your stay here. The Swimming pool and Bbq area located at the front of the main house is for private use only there is no access to these areas for airbnb guests. Local attractions like Thunderbird park are popular for the kids Summerland Camel farm is another favourite Tamborine Mountains famous Gallery Walk is only a 20 minute drive from here. Tamborine is well known for its Wineries, Markets and also Cedar Creek Falls. Your Own transport or hire car is the only means to our Farmstay Retreat Our retreat is priced for couples or 2 people, extra guests/children over 2yrs occur an $30 per person per night fee. For those staying a few nights why not do your grocery shopping online and have them delivered ready for your arrival. Woolworths and Coles both deliver to this address.
