My home is seven years old, is modern & clean. Just off the motorway at Pokeno in a new subdivision with wetlands views & walkways around the neighbourhood. Two cafes locally one becoming a restaurant & bar in the evening. The famous Pokeno Bacon Shop & Ice Cream Shops are in the town too. Movenpick Ice Cream Shop & Cafe recently opened. Fish & Chips to takeaway available at Pokeno Country Cafe in the Main Street. (Closed Tuesdays) Bedroom with Queen Bed, wardrobe space & small drawers in bedside tables. The bathroom has a shower & bath with a separate toilet. The living area is open plan with a TV area & a sitting area. An office area to work is available. Two single beds can be made available on request to the host. Do not access bedrooms other than the guest bedrooms. Answer within the hour. Walking tracks are all over the subdivision, picturesque Mt William has a walking track & Harker Reserve is 20 minutes drive away for a pleasant walk to a waterfall. Kaiaua is 30 minutes drive away on the Firth of Thames. Beach walks & fish & chips available. A train service to Auckland is 15 minutes drive away at Pukekohe with trains going approximately every half hour. There is a bus service from Pokeno to Pukekohe & return every 30 minutes which matches the train timetable. Auckland Airport is 45 minutes drive away.
