The address is 13 Eyre St, this is one street over and parallel with the main street, Albert Street. The grounds around the house fenced and save for children. There is a hot outdoor shower for cleaning sandy kids and divers before going inside, plus a fish cleaning bench with running water. There is a spacious garage that you can use if you require, this also contains the washing machine, chest freezer, barbeque and outdoor furniture. Please, no smoking inside the house, a penalty will be applied. But smoking outside is okay but please do not litter our property with your butts. Dispose of them responsibly. Because of the handy central location of the property it is an easy walk to the beach, wharf, ferry, shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, The Lost Spring etc. There are stunning beaches all around to the north and south. Places such as New Chum, Whangapoa, Matarangi, Rings Beach, Kauaotunu, Otama Bay, Opito Bay, Simpsons Beach, Front Beach, Cooks Beach, Purangi River, Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Hot Water Beach, Sailors Grave, Tairua Ocean Beach etc. Great walks abound, such as Castle Rock, Opera Point, Waitaia, 309 Kauri, Whitianga Rock, Shakespeare's Cliff, Cathedral Cove, Moari Pa south end of Hahei Beach, plus many more, both short walks and long bush hikes. There are buses and shuttles available from the centre of town to reach Coromandel, Thames, Hamilton, Tauranga, Auckland, Auckland Airport etc plus more local destinations such as Flaxmill Bay, Shakespeare's Cliffs, Cooks Beach, Hahei, Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach, either by road or by road via the passenger ferry from Whitianga Wharf to Ferry Landing. Whitianga is flat for cycling or walking around and there are great sites to see in the harbour and Whitianga Waterways development, plus hills to climb for spectacular sea views. Cars, vans, bicycles, motorhomes can all be hired locally. Your bed and bathing linen needs are provided. In the interests of bed hygiene, please, no sleeping bags or soiled luggage on our beds. There are two fully equipped kitchens with basic stocks such as tea, coffee, salt, pepper, flour, sugar, dish wash liquid, dish washer powder, kitchen sponges and scourers etc. We also provide cleaning products, washing machine powder, toilet paper and hand wash. You need to bring your own toiletries, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc. Also, please bring your own beach towels or let us know if you need us to provide them for you.
