It's super close Woden Westfield shopping centre, the Government offices in the area, CIT and the Canberra Hospital. Most other places in Canberra are a 20 minute drive away - and you'll be able to see many of them from the balcony. Please check the full listing information as it will answer most of your questions. This apartment is located on the top level (8th) of the building, with lift access. The apartment number is confusing, just remember you're on the 8th floor! BEDROOMS: The bedrooms have comfortable beds topped with fresh linen. The linen is professionally cleaned and pressed for each stay. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space for your luggage. BATHROOM: I provide complimentary towels, toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash. KITCHEN: The fully-equipped kitchen is ready for you to use. It has: - fridge/freezer - stovetop/oven - dishwasher - plates, glasses, and utensils - cooking pots and pans We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays. LIVING ROOM: The living room has a large L-shaped couch (perfect for napping!) and a TV. The living room also has a nice view of Canberra and opens onto a balcony. If the weather is nice then enjoy your morning coffee outside! LAUNDRY: A washing machine and dryer are available to use, as well as an iron and ironing board. COMMON AREA: Due to the pandemic, common areas may be closed without prior notice. Please refer to the updated guidelines and announcements in the premises at the time of your arrival. There is a key-safe for self check-in. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. I can also provide you with any tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun!" This is a newer apartment complex with great facilities. It is within walking distance to many Department buildings (Health, DVA, Social Services, Aviation Safety Authority, IP Australia to name a few). Also, if you're an ice hockey fan the local rink is right next door so go check out the Canberra Braves if it's in season! With only a short walk to Woden shopping centre/bus interchange you are near everything you'll need! Close by to bus stops that will take you to the City (16 min)/Barton (24 min) so you'll have no trouble getting around without a car. For anything further, one of Canberra's major bus interchanges is also very close by. Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages. Starting 15 June 2021, the Launceston Street bus layover and ancillary roadworks will commence until November 2021. This includes roadworks in Bowes/Launceston Streets and Callam/Launceston Streets. Majority of the works will be undertaken during standard working hours: M-Sat 6AM to 6PM. Some out of hours work will be done as well: M-F 11PM - 5AM, Sat 12AM - 5AM. We expect these works will generate noise typical of construction site, but contractors have advised they will endeavor to minimize noise impacts where possible.
