Located in a farmyard setting just one hour from Christchurch. Comfortable, yet rustic the Quartz Hill Station Shearers Quarters is sunny and warm and has everything you will need for a peaceful stay. The living area is very spacious with a nice open setting. Well set up for families with plenty of space but also comfortable enough to accommodate large or small groups. Wifi and TV. Very close to many outdoor activities, with an outdoor playground on your doorstep. Open plan living and kitchen area with log burner fire makes a warm and cosy area to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, two fridge/freezers and a dishwasher. Large table ensures everyone can be seated and is also suitable for functions. There is a heat transfer system as well as separate heaters in all bedrooms. The outdoor deck area is spacious and comes with BBQ and gas bottle making life easy for guests. The bathroom offers two toilets and two showers. Sleeping areas are warm and comfortable. There are 4 bunk rooms each with 4 single beds (2x bunk beds per room). Then 3 separate back huts (10 meters from the main building), each with a queen bed. Sleeping a total of 22 people. Plenty of parking space, room to move and beautiful views of the mountains. Whole house is accessible to guests. Hand towels, tea towels, oven mitt, bath mats, pillows, pillow and mattress protectors, soap and toilet paper provided. You need to bring your own bedding and a towel. Very close to many activities: ski fields; Mt Hutt, Porters and Mt Olympus (approx 50 minutes to each). Golf courses; Terrace downs, Methven, Hororata.
