Treehouse by the Sea /Ngarimu Bay
We are located 10 minutes out of Thames Township. We are the Gateway to the Coromandel .Thames township has lots of cafes and pubs with local entertainment nightly.. When staying with us you are likely to be visited by fat woodpidgeons and tuis and even the coloful laurakeets from Australia come to eat the berries on our trees. Meander thru our property to the most popular of Thames beaches at the bottom of our garden.Ngarimu Bay. Fab location close to Thames. Our space is 9 minutes from Thames. Enormous room amongst the trees, with a seperate downstairs lounge with French doors opening into a seperate outdoor area. Our property runs down to the road right onto a sandy beach. We have a hot tub in which you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst soaking.. Your room has it's own bathroom TV and sitting area. You can enter privately. There is parking available. There are amenities to make tea coffee and a fridge to keep your wine or beer or the fish you catch. We invite our guests to dine with us if they wish for a small charge. Our room has facilities to make coffee toast etc..but not to cook a meal. Should guests require or desire extra contact with us and our lives we are happy to share time together..and a meal . We love the walks /bird life and close proximity to the beach. Thames is 9 minutes away should you wish to go in to dine . Great cafés in Thames.. Auck-Thames there is a bus, and if our guests don't have transport we can arrange pick up from Thames. This is a great historical area. There are lots of things to do in and around Thames. Visit the old mine shafts from the days of Gold Mining in this region. Hiking Trails are abundant around here and many choices mean there's a hike for everyone. Kyaking on The Firth is usually quiet safe "sailing". The Coromandel township and that Coast offer much and is less than 1 hour from here.. Cathedral Cove and Hot water beach are two draw cards to the region also.
