Duckmaloi Park Lodge
If you’re looking for accommodation 2½ hours drive from Sydney with atmosphere, history and comfort for up to 14 people, call us and find out whether the house is available for a weekend or a mid-week break. It’s a fabulous spot for a family get together, bonding session, reunion, garden weddings, group function or just a place to unwind and have a relaxing weekend or few days away. The house was originally run as a guesthouse and built in the 1940’s by the current owner's grandparents. It still retains many of the original features and ambience of that era. The property is tucked away in the Duckmaloi Valley on 140 acres of soft rolling hills and natural bush with private access to the Duckmaloi River. The house is set on 2 acres of gardens and sleeps 14 people in seven bedrooms – three doubles (made up of one room with a queen size bed and a single bed and two rooms with double beds) and four twins. The bedrooms are unpretentious and comfortable with doonas, blankets and pillows provided. We can also supply sheets, pillow slips and towels on request at $15 per head or you are welcome to bring your own. On the property there are also various activities such bushwalking with trails (great for walks or mountain biking), trout fishing, mushroom picking in the local Oberon pine forests and even wildlife or platypus spotting.
