Magharibi House, Main House, Blue Suite

Magharibi House (Ma-gah-REE-bee) is owned & operated by a local Swahili family with support from an American partner. Ahmed (on-site) and Juli (Tacoma, WA, USA) have operated as a guest house since 2005. A 10 minute walk from a white sand crystal clear water beach. Nine different spaces to rent from this double suite for groups or families in the Main House, to a traditional coco frond cabin in the garden. Ahmed can arrange outings for you. The natural sea turtle aquarium is very nearby. The Blue Suite has 2 bedrooms and a bath, best for groups traveling together. Has 2 double beds and 2 single cots. There are privacy curtains screening the bedroom and bath but no solid doors--to allow breeze to blow through. Backpackers' delight. Nice veranda with seating and tiny ocean view. Walk to the beach and restaurants. Bring a torch/flashlight because it is dark along the road at night. When you book we send detailed notes an various transport routes to get here.
