Situated in central Brighton. It comfortably sleeps 6 and there is free off-street parking for 2 cars. We have recently put in a new kitchen/diner with a wood burning stove. Our lovely peaceful garden makes it a spacious, truly quiet retreat. It is a little bit of country living in central Brighton. You can stroll to the 2 surrounding parks, 5 minutes away, nearby shops and coffee bars. We are 7 minutes walk from Brighton train station, the beach and the Lanes and Churchill Square. Airy and bright, this is a hidden house tucked away in central Brighton with a large garden for playing in, trampoline and veg plot to pick your own. It is home from home. We have just completed an extension including a new kitchen / diner giving a very open, spacious feel to the house and connecting it to the garden with bi-folding doors. The bedrooms include: 1 double bedroom with a King sized bed, 1 double bedroom with a Double bed and a single bedroom with 1 Single bed and a pull out mattress for a second single bed. There is an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs shower room. In the sitting room there is a lovely wood burning stove that keeps the house very cosy in winter. All the facilities you would hope for in a family home, including Wifi, cable TV and utility room with washing and drying facilities. Off street parking for 2 cars, safe storage for bikes. The house offers a great hanging out space a lovely lounge and all the facilities you would expect, wifi, cable tv, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher etc Outside you have a beautiful south facing garden that is not over looked, a patio and BBQ. Locally you have shops and 2 good local pubs with excellent pub food and good range of ales. Very rarely, but we are always on call should you have any questions. Our neighbourhood is surrounded by 2 local parks; Dyke Road Park, with an open air theatre and Preston Park (for Park Runners !) with tennis courts. The area is quiet and safe with good local shops. Of course the beach is a short walk away. Great for cycling. Local buses (No 7) will take you into Brighton or Kemp Town and out to the South Downs / Devils Dkye (No 27). Brighton Train Station is 7 mins walk. Taking you to central London in 50 minutes or along the South Coast to Lewes / Eastbourne or Southampton. Taxis are everywhere and a taxi ride from the train station or from central Brighton back to our house is normally about £6.00. We want you to enjoy yourselves but please respect our home and please leave it clean and tidy. Please bring your own towels. We have a cat called Tiger who stays at the house when we don't, he will need feeding while you stay.
