Booth's supermarket (similar to Waitrose) is a 4 minute walk. There are some spectacular walking routes from the door through The Dallam Tower Estate Deer Park & paths that follow Morecambe Bay. There are easy walking routes from nearby Sandside, Arnside & Silverdale. The Lakeland Fells are an easy drive or bus ride away. Good transport links with the 555 bus route with double deckers operating the Lancaster - Milnthorpe - Kendal - Windermere - Ambleside & Keswick, with train connections at Carnforth & Lancaster for The West Coast inter city services.
