B&B in a quiet and cozy wooden frame house
I am an English-speaking Canadian and have lived in this area in southwestern France for over 30 years. My companion, an amateur beekeeper, speaks Spanish fluently. We love to meet people from France and around the world. The environment is important to us; our house is energy efficient. Our cozy wooden house with its shaded terrasse is a welcoming and relaxing getaway in a small Bearnais village, just a short walk from the Gave de Pau river and a 5 min drive from the A64 Autoroute Artix exit. You will be served a fresh breakfast composed of organic and local products, honey from our very own beehives and homemade jams and cakes. Our two bedrooms are located on the top floor which is entirely reserved to our guests and has its own bathroom. You will find parking in the driveway and outside the house, on the street. Follow the signs to find our home! Please note both rooms are on the first floor, accessible only by stairs. We are available to assist our guests should need be Our small Bearnais village is ideally situated at 20 kms from Pau and just 5 kms from the Artix exit on the A64 autoroute between Toulouse and Bayonne. There are shops and restaurants in two neighbouring villages only 3 kms from the house. Parking is available for our B&B guests. There is a local bus that goes to Pau a few times a day. In the neighbouring town of Artix, there is a small railway station. The Pau airport is just 20 minutes away. Important: Please note that this rate applies to two guests sharing one room. Should you wish two separate rooms, an additional booking will be required.
