Amazing Country House also for large groups

Quinta da Lua Nova is an impressive country house located in the rural area of Portugal in Travanchina near Serra da Estrela. If you are looking for a calm getaway, this is the perfect place. Mario is a certified Iyangar yoga teacher and he gives daily classes at his studio. Hiking, biking and canoeing are just a few of the activities which can be done in the area. The house is also available for a small wedding, teambuilding, retreat, family reunion or a small group of friends getting away. The house has 9 bedrooms, 5 of which have a private bathroom. 2 bathrooms are to be shared by the remaining 4 bedrooms. The room on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible. There is a swimming pool which can be used by the guests. A large kitchen with all amenities, plus floor heating also in the dining area. Huge terrace around the house for a lovely sunset watching (also wheelchair accessible) The living room has a fireplace and a tv. Each of the bedrooms have central heating. 50acres of private land surround the house. There is also a wood oven outside for pizza or bread making. You will need a car as the place is remote and there is no public transport. There is plenty of space for free parking. Op 40 minuten rijden bevind je je op de hoogste top van Portugal, de Serra de Estrela, wandelen en skieen in de winter. Er zijn prachtige rivierstranden in de buurt (Loriga), er kan in de buurt gekanoed worden, paardgereden en een fietstocht heuvel afwaarts langs de oude spoorlijn. Gevlogen kan worden op op Porto of Lissabon. In Porto kan gemakkelijk en redelijk geprijst een auto worden gehuurd. Via Lissabon kan natuurlijk ook daar een auto worden gehuurd maar het is ook gemakkelijk met de trein vanuit Lissabon naar nelas te reizen, aldaar een taxi naar Travancinha (ongeveer 20 eur) The place is available for 18 people, not 16.
