Villa Gordon is a charming old family villa in the beautiful Italian Dolomites. It is a large house (sleeping 16) set in generous grounds, making it well suited for family and group holidays. The ground floor features a big veranda that goes round the house, an entrance hall/sitting room and an elegant dining room. There is also a double and a twin bedroom and a WC. LOWER GROUND FLOOR: Bathroom, WC, Laundry, Kitchen and Cinema/Snooker room. FIRST FLOOR: two twin rooms, Master Bedroom (double), bathroom and WC. SECOND FLOOR: twin room, two double bedrooms, bathroom and WC. Guests have access to all parts of the four acre garden including a football pitch area for games. Inside the house in addition to the large common areas of the veranda, the large entrance hall and the elegant dining room there is also a large cinema/snooker room in the lower ground floor. Three small storage rooms on the second floor and the attic are out of bounds. Our agent on the ground, Ugo, can always be contacted if help is needed during your stay. Ugo speaks Italian and English. He also works at the local bank, which can be very useful! The Villa is 500 metres out of Roncegno, a charming holiday spa resort featuring parks and some fine old hotels. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and lakes, the area offers good food, walks and healthy living. The Villa is private and screened on all sides by trees. Plenty of parking at the house. Regular local bus and train services. Bicycle hire is available, and the valley boasts a network of cycle tracks. Car hire is best arranged at the airport. And finally: Italian taxis, though plentifully available, always seem on the expensive side; ask for details.
